I have the Vanquis and the Crapital One. I was going to keep Vanquis open to reclaim the PPI but TBH I want it gone. My limit is £2,250 on it and i think having that available is prevenmting me getting a real grown up credit card with a decent APR. My ultimate dream is to transfer the cap one balance to a 0% or at least a better % than the shocking one I have now!
I earned a decent amount today and my immediate thought was not about primark/haircut/top shop it was "woo hoo i can pay off vanquis"
I am also putting most of my earnings towards my overdraft, and paying hubby £50 that i owe him.
so- i will ring and close vanquis right away. I feel FREEEEEEHave nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

Plea for advice...
DH got hit in rear of car and looks like its a write off. Does anyone have advice, or where to look for advice:
1. where to get a reliable second hand car?(we can travel to get one if cheaper in certain parts of country)
2. How to pay for it in cheapest way?
3. Is hiring better than buying?
Not sure what we can afford just yet but not looking to pay more than £2500
Thanks in advance
