Think like an MSEr.... shared food shopping bills, no more petrol between yours and his place, shared bills. :p You will probably find you still see your friends just as much as you'll want to get some time to yourself. I actually saw more of my friends when the OH moved in for 3 months over the summer as I wanted some "me time" hehe. Big step though.

It would be a bit cheaper rent but more on petrol to work... I guess your right about seeing friends, just not sure. I have a few months to think :)

Wow helenpie that's epic! There's a reason to not pay minimum payments. Did you put in the amount you can afford to pay at the top

I tend to do the calculations myself as my available funds often fluctuates from month to month. I take elements from it and use it as a check at the end that my calculations are reasonable (I work in finance so would hope so, but you'd also think I knew better than to get myself here in the first place :o)

    Thanks ;)

I've just found you can save your snowballs and put in the payments that you've made. Well impressed with this now. Although it means I update my diary, snowball, spreadsheet overview sheet and my debts sheet .... so 5 times if I include here. But at least I'm making headway.:T

Hello everyone, you're doing soooo well I am actually jealous of your huge repayments! I have just seen my measley 1.24% and feel like a massive failure! I need to clear this debt asap - my future depends on it! Keep it up people and I will update Friday with some more repayments (fingers crossed) xxx

You are NOT a failure. You're 1.24% closer to being debt free than you were, and you will never be further into debt than you are now. We don't have failures here, we have small successes :) that will eventually lead to a massive success. *hugs*

  • Can't believe how well everyone is doing. I still haven't anything to update mine with, but come payday I am hoping to pay our overdraft down into the free bit and this is quite a few hundred pounds.:D

I have been very good and had lots of nsd's and have been really tight with my shopping £17.30 l*dl and coop and £16 odd AP, should be a nsd for me today as well.

Hopefully work will really take off for me this year and we can see this off for good
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly
