Thanks mf0u for the good wishes, I am having dreams about an Indian takeaway for tomorrow night, not very moneysaving I know but I haven't spent any money today so I think I can justify it:) Hope you soon feel better too.

Jemma I think you could probably do a weekly update on a Sunday or something and noone would mind :) Is there a way to use a spreadsheet so you could update as you read then weekly update from that? You do a tremendous job for us :) *massive hugs* and I've found it such an incentive. I would have bought lunch at least twice and a takeaway this weekend if it weren't for this thread.

Debt busting note, it doesn't look like Riverford are going to charge me this week (no idea why), so if it gets to Thursday and they still haven't I'll put another £10 towards Freemans

  • Can't sleep after a hectic weekend.... after preparing 37 items ready to go live today on fleabay on friday, we left the flat at 9.30am yesterday morning to visit my aunt and uncle, and see a puppy for MrS's mum and dad on the south coast... we ended up getting said puppy and decided it was best to just take it straight up to Fife! Got there at 2.30am this morning, got to bed after all the excitement at 4am, up at 10.30am to drive back to Essex, got back at 10pm and now MrS is sound asleep while I'm wide awake. Luckily I'm not working at the moment! So no debt busting for me, although I did only spend £6.99 on food as everything else was covered by MrS and we were fed by his mum before we left. Bit gutted as I have some lovely expensive folders to list on eBay and I wanted to list them on buy it now but obviously missed the free listings now! Also still got a few other bits and pieces, but I guess 37 is enough to post in one week if they all sell! I did however manage to get 5 minutes on the laptop in fife so all my items are now live as planned and most have watchers, a couple have bids already :) It also means CV was put off for another day again.

Hope everyone had a fab weekend x

Has a great time on eBay :) sold 12 items waiting for 4 more to be paid and more ending tomorrow and during the week/weekend with more bids so the eBay selling totals is nearly £100! Have to work out the fees etcbut it's a great start will be paying it after I get my statement mid week so that's at least the minimum payment covered :) yay

Usually do well on eBay and got more items to find to list I hope they do fortnightly free listings like they did on the run up to Xmas :)
  • Good morning everyone, Well done on all the payments and ebaying:beer:

They normally have a free listings weekend every month or so.

A combination of credit card Direct Debit and another few pounds into the savings account for paying off the loan this morning. I've got some more freelancing money coming in before payday a week Friday, so should be able to get into double figures in terms of the % I've paid off before the end of January. Proving to be a bit of a slog at the moment, and my motivation is a little low, but at least it's going in the right way!
