I think alot of the challenges are in the diaries, I know the Sealed Pot Challenge is, and i just thought Sue had decided to set it up in there, never understood why though :rotfl: obv she didnt, the board guides did :rotfl:
For those asking about change, I bag mine up and take it to barclays counter with a nice bill to pay and give it all to them. My bank lady said they will accept it all as long as its in complete money bags (eg 20 x £1 etc no part bags)
No debt busting today as hve spent the entire day trying to sort out lilys party which is now seeming much too close for my liking. Have wrapped all the prizes for lucky socks, put tickets on all the boy and girl tombola stuff, DH has made me a very good fishing hook for hook a prize, dear adopted sister is texting me panicking that none of the kids will want a glitter tattoo and lily is getting in the way wanting to try all the games :rotfl: what WAS I thinking!!!!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -

Can I join too please? I hope it's not too late to join?
I am aiming to pay off £5749 of debt this year, which will be all our debt (excluding mortgage and student loan) gone!
We (my husband is on here too, he is AllThatStuffIsJustStuff) paid off £7657 in 2011, whilst our income was quite tight and amazingly we even managed to have fun doing it too.
We really want to be debt free by Christmas so this is the perfect thread for us.

Well done everybody on your debt busting, I'm waiting for the 25th (payday) when I can make some more payments.
I've got the January blues really bad at the mo, started last Thursday and feel really peed off and angry with everything and everyone, close to tears all the time..... I'm on HRT as had everything whipped out when I reached 40... maybe get that checked out. Or it maybe that I have a small ebay business 20hrs week, work 30 hours in an office (new computer system, trying to work old & new system, until everything is transferred over, have a stroppy teenager doing her re-sits, hubby that does nowt unless I ask him too (goes to work comes home lies on the settee all eve & tells me to chill out!)........8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140 -
How very MSE of me, just realised I need to get my thyroglobulin and t3/t4 levels checked 3 weeks before my oncologist appointment next month and so have asked to work from home on Monday. Seeing as my hospital appointments are in Bournemouth this ties in very well with visiting the parents and family this weekend
Saves me a trip and saves me petrol. Plus an extra day with my nephew. Now all my sister has to do is pop and it'll be a very MSE weekend as I'll get to meet the new baby then too. She's almost full term now, still contracting, no baby yet grr.

Sorry you are having a rough time - you need to try and get some 'me' time, which sounds hard with everything you have got going on, but you must try :grouphug:Pay off all my debts before Christmas 2015 #165.0 -
Found another £33.35 of debt in an account that was overdrawn. Paid it off as soon as I saw it and am going to close the account. It does mean my totals have changed though!

3.5lbs/28!!! Im so excited- I weighed in and lost 3.5lbs and was Slimmer of the week. I am inspired more than I have been in MONTHS to shift this last weight and am teetering on the brink of entering a local 10k at the end of May. Eek!
No more debt busting - I was so enthusiastic about Vanquishing Vanquis that my overdraft is huge. luckily however that is interest free and do you know what? Ive totally lost interest in shopping- it was literally a hobby but I dont NEED anything and am more interested in clearing out/de cluttering at the mo than adding more junk! Its a revalationHave nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.
