Thanks for all the kind words, I am having plenty of wobbles at the moment - he just text to see if I want to try and work things out. And I've just confused my colleague by asking him to keep hold of my phone so I don't reply. It would all be lots simpler if I didn't miss him! How pathetic, I think I need to get a grip, pull myself together, man up, and assorted other motivational phrases.
On a debt-busting front, I have found that a work colleague is heading up north for Easter, so by hiring a car and splitting the cost it will be cheaper than getting the train! Saved £20.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Solicitors bill paid
One step closer to being able to put money into savings. Just waiting on final bill from them, council tax bill to pay and sort DD for future payments.
Saw some wardrobes and things tonight but I'm not sure I want to pay that much for them, although they were solid wood rather than veneer. We shall see.
So happy to have internet back, going to play some games online whilst OH is at workHSBC CC - £3000 / £3000
Halifax CC - £1032.77 / £1032.77
Mortgage currently at [STRIKE]£82,299.71[/STRIKE] £76,017.62 would love to overpay0 -
I noticed people are talking about wardrobes - I know its not to everyone's liking to go secondhand but I have seen really nice ones in BHF charity furniture stores and also our local Age Concern furniture stores recently - and its all proper wood. Mind you, the sofas can be a bit whiffy, so if you can get past them you can sniff out a bargain
I like IKEA but I have had some wardrobes that sway in the wind, in the past, that have to be screwed to the wall (expensive ones too):xmastree:POMDB Xmas 2013 Board - Paid off £12k in 2012 :j:j :xmastree:

Just passing through to update my totals, I haven't been very MSE in Feb or March but April I promise to get back on track. I have been side tracked with too many other things going on in my life just now and just haven't been focussed enough, I haven't even had time to read all the thread
April I aim to get back to my grocery challenge, selling things on ebay and do my surveys to pay those extra payments but for now here is my total so far:
