The "Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2012" challenge - PART 2!!!

Haven't really done any debt busting this weekend. We went to the local garden centre as I wanted to buy a rose and we bought some extra things - grow bags, propagator (as I don't know where my last one went), some seed potatoes and some asparagus. Hopefully it will save us some pennies later in the year. I've already got strawberry plants, carrot and tomato seeds and I'm going to try garlic and peppers (again!), so should have a nice full veg patch!£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

*Hugs* Jake's Mum - glad today has gone better for you! Btw when is your birthday as it sounds very close to mine (19th May)?
Thanks for mini-challenge Kerri - do you know what I've never thought of splitting the money by 5 - always split by 4 and then panic on 5 week months as to where the extra will come from - doh. On last week's challenge, I have £1.95 so I'm gona put that in my sealed pot on Tuesday night

I didn't think about dividing it up at all until I saw the thread Divide Your Cash Into Envelopes it's aimed at saving for longer payments, but I like the idea of being paid every week. Oh and this month is a 4 week monthso that means extra pennies at the end of the month.

Woo! Today is the day we get our phone line and broadband turned on, which means I can get on our internet banks and pay off credit cards, pay the solicitors and sort out OHs standing order to pay our bills
Think I've seen a wardrobe and chest of drawers that would do us on tesco direct, the flat is starting to feel more organised!
I phoned our council last week to sort out the council tax but they said I need to wait for the bill to come through as we'll have a little bit to pay for the 2 weeks of this year for us being in the house and then it'll start a fresh. Really want to have the DD at least set up though. Ah well. Just looking forward to knowing where we stand money wise.
Had the bill through for our first months mortgage payment too and it doesn't seem too bad. then after that it will go down. Don't think it's taken until the start of May as well which is nice.
Set water DD at £25 (yay meter) gas at £38 and electric at £25 so we can build up some credit.
Changed my sig to remind me to do things!HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000
Halifax CC - £1032.77 / £1032.77

Payment to cc went out so i have a new total:
