I logged into my online banking and my bank account had gone! The ones with no money in were still there. I rang the automated telephone system and the they said the balance was ZERO, there should have been well over £2000 in there.
I FREAKED OUT! Turns out one of the debt payments I made over the weekend triggered their automated anti fraud systems and they shut me down and made me go totally NUTS on a (hopefully) temporary basis.
Anyway....I have money again for a while :0) and I can stop crying!
What have you been doing to trigger a fraud alert on you!0 -

Hi all,
Well after a mega busy weekend, I've finally managed to sort out the bills & my new total is
# 306 £3155.17/16779.81
:j:j:j:j
I've been really good and MSE over the last few weeks - every weekend I have listed at least 20 items on ebay & on Sat I shifted loads of kiddy stuff at an NCT sale & made £50. That combined with some cashback that was paid had meant an extra £200 paid off. Woohooo:D
Hugs to Antonia - sorry to hear that life it a bit pants at the moment.

Morning all, I hope everyone is well! I know I've been away ages but I have a good excuse - a relationship break up and a car break down. Both of which have ended up quite expensive for me! So, long story short, I am now single, carless and my debt is back up to £3535 .
On the plus side - I have decided to sort my life out properly. I am focussing on being debt free, enjoying the walks to work and am sure that it will all turn out in the end. The car is being scrapped tomorrow, which I will get paid £150 for :j, I will be able to reclaim half the car tax back (£50) :j, and I will cancel my insurance and hopefully get around £200 back from them too :j. I also get paid on Friday and have decided to give myself a strict budget of £40 per week to spend - including food, bus when I can't be bothered to walk to work, and any incidental drinking money. It will be tough, but doable.
Sorry to hear that antonia. Hope you're ok?
Was it you that had the dilemma about where to live: to be near your boyfriend or to save money? If so, then the plus side is that you no longer have that hanging over you. (That isn't meant to sound callous - I just couldn't think of a way to rephrase! The troubles of not speaking face to face, hey?)
Well done for keeping focused and setting yourself new goals and plans. That's an achievement in itself at difficult times in our lives, so don't forget that.
Sending you hugs.:jDebt Free By Xmas 2013 #010 £16,660.26/£16,660.26 100% paid, DFD 25/06/13!:j0 -

Maybe it's just my store and we have a sale on 30th March. Ring your store and see when the sale is on there, do they have different dates for each store??Trying hard...failing miserably

I think they have special offers for each store. Was tempting but just checked my budget doors and they are £145.00. Warrington aren't offering the same on discount. Plus don't every want to go to the one in Warrington again! Its the one you can never get out of!
P.S. My heart attack moment. Just had an update on my loan. May be able to boost my amount paid!0 -
Aw karenann that's not good, wasn't it you who was cross that you'd left your purse in the car and hubby had run off with the car? They'll try anything to stop you paying your bills won't theyDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
