  • Well done to all those who have paid off more of their debts - you are an inspiration :T!

Slightly p***ed off today as credit card came through and DH had spent £170 on unbudgeted for carp so not sure where the money for that is going to come from. Just hope he gets some overtime in soon otherwise will have to add that to the debt :(.

  • Had a lovely day today in the sunshine in the pub garden :) SW gone right out of the window last night and today so I'm unlikely to lose any weight this week... oops. I don't regret it though, I was tired and stressed and it made me feel better!

Selling stuff on ebay this weekend so getting some pennies, but I spent £115 in Ike@ on yesterday so debt definitely going up!

hope you have all had a lovely day :)

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi Y'All!
I am trying to increase my payments for the next few weeks. I am cooking more veggie meals as they are less expensive(only to be yelled at the table as DH and kids shriek 'Where's the meat?") I have stopped taking the car to work completely, as it gobbles fuel and I catch the buses instead. The children have all been at home this week on Spring Break and I know I have broken this week's budget - and next week's too! - so I must break into my savings to supplement this week's installment!
    HAve a good week everyone!

Well we were completely un-MSE yesterday, we had lunch AND dinner out at a total cost of £75 :o, DH also bought me some very lovely flowers but I have a feeling I dont want to know how much they cost (wont be able to help finding out as he used his credit card).

Got a bit upset yesterday as im one of those people that plans gifts etc in advance of special days where as DH is a 'i'll go out in the middle of the day and just pick something up' he couldn't grasp why I was upset (again) that I gave him his gifts first thing in the morning and again got the 'I havent got you anything' response :(

Its not about the material side of it, its about the fact it makes me feel a bit of an after thought and I hate that moment that comes every valentines/mothers day/anniversary/birthday 'oh what did your DH get you?' 'ummm well nothing' and then the look of pity that crosses their face :(

I think it was made worse by the fact that not one member of his side of the family remembered either so we didnt get one single 'happy anniversary' (my mum and nana remembered bless them, ok mum thought it was middle of next week, and we got the card on time because she was going away, but the thought was there :o)

I dont know if you can tell, but I hate celebratory days that involve me, as I always feel miserable and I can guarantee that DS will be a complete so and so just because its someone elses special day :(

Ok rant over, anniversary over, so can be happy again for another 54 days until its the dreaded birthday
