Glad things are going well for you, and may go even better, *fingers crossed* Jemma, and catmort, I think that you should go see your mum, debt is not necessarily a bad thing. If you're not paying any more on it and it means you get to see your mum, then it sounds worthwhile to me.

Here's my update, and I'm hoping to get over 30% by the end of the month:

    #123 3217 / 10762
    DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

    Total - 10762/10762 :)

Every silver lining has its cloud.

Aw, yeah you kinda have to have at least met someone once before you get in a car with them for 7 hours each way :)

  • Well I am officially over the moon!! Today is payday and I've just spent about 1/2 hour looking over finances. Since finding this site and thread, I've gone from being over £700 overdrawn at the end of the month to...........£367 IN CREDIT @ PAYDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j

So, today I'll be making a payment to CC, then withdrawing the rest that is left over in cash for spending this month. Hopefully that will really limit use of the debit card, so that I'll be in credit again next month too!

Going to make my payments, then will update my total. Was just too excited about being in credit and had to tell someone!! :)

    Pay off my debt by Xmas 2012 Challenge #038 : £699.33 / £2529.33 (26.46%)
    Overdraft @ pay day: Oct: £-733.90 Nov: £-662.01 Dec: £-306.61 Jan: £-147.86 Feb £-73.84 Mar: £+367 :)
  • Right, bit the bullet and made a payment. I felt the need to round off my outstanding balance so:

    #38 new total: 669.33 / 2529.33 (26%) :j

Leaving me with a new balance of £1860 still to pay.

So pleased that 5 months in I've paid off over a quarter. Hopefully now I'll stay in credit, so can pay more off every month! I know I've still got a DD which will come out later this month as well, so that will be a little bit more. :T
