Will post my total later when it updates, but I am really pleased. I hope that it will be gone by the end of March, but I might be being a bit optimistic on that front.

Well done!! Its a great feeling when you reach a milesstone like that

Mf0u, any chance I can change my figures on the front page. Working off an excel sheet and getting really confused as to what and where! Rather then keep two tally it would help if I can change it to one

No 149 requesting change to figures. Original debt amount is £14,258.67, amount paid off £4,006.34 amount paid is 28.1%?

Sorry to muck you about just not sure what I have and haven't reported and its a bit easier this way!

Hello strangers, it's been a while!

Well, what an awful Christmas and New Year. Money wise, family wise, weather wise... still, it's a New Year and we have DFW work to do!

I've taken out a loan at 6.6% and restructured my debts, as well as paying off a bit on top. Good news - the 16.9% CC and 11.9% car loans have gone, replaced with the lower interest. Should make things a tiny bit easier.

So, figures for the New Year are below. I'm off to Val Thoren for a 30th birthday thing, so I'm not expecting this month to go too well, but after that things should start flying nicely along.

Oh, one more thing. I've committed myself to not one, but TWO half marathons this summer! I've never even run a 10k before, so this should be fun :j

Welcome back Pedro and happy new year to you too. Now all we need is for Suzitiger to show up and we'll be all noisy again :)

Have you had a look at mapmyrun? I use it to keep a track of my runs it's really good and there's an app for it as well. Also, podrunner is good for pacing yourself, I've uploaded it to my phone so just plug my earphones in and away I go. I've got the intervals one :)

I got myself a second-hand Garmin watch with a heart-strap, so I've been tracking my progress with that. I broke my distance record the other day! 6.8 miles, whoop! Cheers for the advice though - do you run too?

Yay !!!!!! Dastardly is back!!! My competitiveness has missed you... :rotfl:

    Glad you're back x

I've ran a few races (10k's and half marathons) and started training for the London Marathon a couple of years back but had to pull out due to injury grrrrrrrr  My friend is utterly crazy as he's running the Thames Towpath 100 miles in under 24hours!!! Some people might be intimidated by him but I just think he opens your eyes to what is possible if you get rid of all the excuses!!!

Pedro, I just started running again on Tuesday going to go for another tonight if the weather holds off :)

Just checked Lloyds and needed to pay off the interest on the overdraft as I was over my limit, so added another £10 to it to try to reduce the amount even though I'm totally skint this month. I did check no bills are due out until next week first though :)

It's nice to have a lovely round number and so close to 25% now too :)

Im getting back into running. Will be more short distance faster pace running i do - probably not much more than 3 and a half miles at a time. Could do with a watch that tells you distance covered and time achieved in?
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
