I doubt my OH would fill out a spending diary. So my plan is to take her cards off her and give her £40 cash for the month total for all spending.

I will take control of filling up petrol (this was her previous plan to keep a card and then use it to buy fake tan etc!!! I got wise to that!! Lol)

I am also leaving the cards at home and living on £40.

On the plus side I cancelled a pointless direct debit so and extra £7.50 a month for debt repayment!!
    DEBT Total Dec 12 = £30029

Still going good on the weekly challenge. Had some carrots and mushrooms on their last legs so turned them into a soup (bit salty but will suffice) Only had enough bread for lunch sandwiches so cooked some potato waffles, cut them up & mixed them in - very tasty!! :rotfl:

I think this wins the award for the weirdest dinner! :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hellooooooooooooooooo DF by xmas'ers

well after my completely miserable post yesterday this one is muuuuuuuuuuuch happier. TOday seems to be my lucky day :D After his night in the dog house DH has spent the morning job hunting, rang all the agencies hes with and had a possible job for the town 30 minutes away which needed own transport on minimum wage . . . not so great :( BUT then his original agency ring him and say the driving job they have been waiting for has finally come off and hes got a 'interview' (though she said this is really a meet and greet) on monday and will then start his training :D:D THEN rang LA fitness and they agreed that mum can take over DH's gym membership which is draining £33.30 out of our account a month and he never goes :j :j and THEN I log into my email and ive won a £250 pre paid mastercard :D:D:D:D

THis has to be one of my favourite days of the last 2 years :D

I've just paid off my biggest Credit Card of £1000 today :) so thats the £500 one gone the £1000 one gone (although they have just put it up to £1500!!!) Next is the store card! Would be great to pay that off with eBay sales this month- I think thats just less than £300! Come on free listing weekend! Once thats gone its the interest free overdrafts that need going and the payments to debt company- so close yet so far!

    So: Number 180 checking in having paid another £200 off debts: New Total= £1624/ £10000 16.24% :j

Any idea when the next free listings are?

I hope it's not soon as I've been listing stuff today! But did you know if you list the starting price at 99p or under, it's free for the first 100 items each month? I only found that out a couple of months ago. So the free listing weekend is good for stuff that you want to start higher but otherwise get listing :)
