Incidentally I'm really cross with the CK website. I ordered my fabric at 3pm, the cut off for next day delivery is 3.30pm so paid the extra £2. Has my order arrived??? Has it heck! Have emailed demanding refund of £2. Not my fault they decided to go home early or whatever they were doing. I have proof of my purchase time as well.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I am absolutely loving this week's challenge, and I'm quite tempted to see how long I can keep it going for. I also got a fresh stock of toiletries from father christmas (I know, I'm 26, but mum says I have to have santa cos I'm there on Christmas morning) so I shouldn't need any more shampoo, shower get etc for ages.
Despite being, ahem...38 me and DH still do Christmas stockings for each other. I gave him a list of suggestions from the @von catalogue and he bought me EVERYTHING on it. I'm sorted for smellies and make-up for the year :rotfl:
Still not had to buy any groceries this week, well since the challenge started, proably helps that I did a shop on Tues morn, not that I paid, DH did 0 0

Result! Just phoned CK, they're refunding me the £6.95 for delivery as it's not been dispatched until today so it might arrive today or tomorrow happy Kerri. That's £6.95 towards a debt, now to choose which one.... Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance: happy Kerri. Pointless spending
I've just been getting into the weeds on my bank statements and I've found a lot of pointless spending going on
 My account
 Sept £30.83
 Oct £10.83
 Nov £64.32
 Dec £34.28
 Total £140.26
 Joint account
 Sept £94.47
 Oct £67.95
 Nov £81.49
 Dec £55.28
 Total £299.19
Overall £439.45 over 4 months on snacks and drinks ( mainly OH lunches)
If we cut this out ( which we will be once I tell OH when she gets home!!!) we will have an extra £1318.35 to pay off our debt:mad:
It is so amazingly simple where the money goes, you just don't realise!!!
None of this includes the £10 here or £20 there withdrawls or my OH's account!!!! So the real figure is even higher, but small steps first tackle the over use of the debit cards!!!
( not sure what was going on in November but we were clearly in need to snacks and drinks!!!!)DEBT Total Dec 12 = £30029DFD APRIL 20140

Spending diary and meal planning me thinks!
Good idea. I haven't actually done a meal plan yet, I've been picking up whatever is nearest as I leave the flat in the morning. To do list for tonight begins with inventorying (is that a word?!) the cupboards, fridge and freezer.
Also just been invited to a friend's house for food on the 29th Jan. She is providing food, but it is three days before I get paid and the round trip costs £25 in petrol. Tho if I'm driving I wouldn't have to take any wine.
And a huge congratulations to webitha on not smoking :T:T:T:T! Very impressive indeed!:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner
