I'm really confused by the percentages on page 1 and total debt! Have used my calculator but can't work it out! Can anyone advise me what the figures represent?
Thanks!
The percentage next to each persons total should represent how much of their total debt they have paid off.
Basically devide 100 by the total debt amount and multiply by the amount paid off, this should then come up with the percentage that Jemma has postedSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Well, thanks to the balls up wth the Halifax, I've ended up paying an extra £50 to my debt! So my new new total is (:p)

Oompa it should be the amount paid off your total debt so far.
Do you have your figures to hand to recheck them?
Thanks! I have paid £1319.20 since Jan, my total is £14185 excluding student loan (this is just under 30K and currently coming off my pay, I'm not including this as I think I'd faint if I thought I had to tackle this too!! Also, the other debt is more urgent, such as credit cards). Could I be added to the thread please? I'm trying to diet too - aiming for 28lbs @ least @ the mo!0 -
Oh and £1000 of this was GCU loan, thus added onto total debt - won't be able to pay off over £500 each month of 2012!0

Ok Muf) will pop along tonight to give you a figure, welcome to the group. Everytime you want to update do as Green saints has done above and make it large and in a different colour.
This way Muf0 can easily update your total.
A great start so far. Have you seen Kerri weekly challenge? Keeps us all on our toes.0 -

Morning everyone.
I can get the fridge and washer from my catalogue on 0% for 12 months, but am also looking at getting them 2nd hand? What are people's thoughts on this???
Anyway, the long and short of it is it feels almost inevitable that the debt totals are going to go upand the debt payments down
Any ideas or advice on how to do any of the above very much appreciated?:o
Enough about me though......well done to all of the debt busters :T:T and hugs to those that need them.
Kat xx
I brought a £500 electric cooker when we moved in here 10 years ago from the catalogue and it only lasted 14 months before it broke down & it wasn't viable to repair it. So we looked at getting a 2nd hand one from a shop that deals with washing machines, dryers etc.. anyway that same electric oven that we brought from them for £180 is still going 8.5 years later!!! So for me personally 2nd hand everyti:)me, if you buy from one of these shops them you get a small guarantee and the cooker was spotless. Good luck with your move hun xxx8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140 -
