But got home to gooooooood news, loan approved at credit union, some come the end of next week, no more PDL's ever. Will be able to pay the last one off, will be tight, but none ever again, and will have a rediculous amount of money over every month to pay off debts, in total was paying about £400 just to role them over, but have paid off 2 myself and now with the help of my local CU, the last will be gone by the 28th, happy just can't contain myself:j:j, yehhhhhhhhh

He was still sleeping when I got home - exactly where I left him this morning. My friend and I then tried to get him to eat something & he couldn't stand up, but it was obvious he was hungry - it was awful. We took him to the vet who said he'd had a stroke and he was peacefully put to sleep. The vets were lovely - I cried on the phone when I called & I cried when I walked in & they knew who I was & put us in a side room to wait. I'm so glad my friend was with me.

Ruth
So sorry to hear about your loss

Edit: sorry posted without seeing about Ruthy's cat, so sorry to hear about Charlie i hope you're ok xxx
Right then you lot enough moping or I'll start passing around the sin tinthis debt isn't meant to be crippling us and making us miserable anymore, we're meant to be learning how to budget so we still have a bit to the side for when we need clothes, a holiday, etc without feeling guilty as we know we're doing it for the best value. I don't think the MSE way of life is meant to be all penny pinching, but getting the best for your money.
One example I did today was OH said we should go to *bucks for coffee, ick! I told him for a few pence more we could buy his favourite ground coffee and he could have a really nice couple of cups at home, better quality coffee initial cost is higher, but more cups = better valueDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

psychopathbabble wrote: »Must be something in the air tonight.... I'm feel very pathetic, and bought toffee popcorn, choc hobnobs and a bar of crunch chocolate for my dinner.... a waste of money and very unhealthy to boot! Just feel like getting drunk and wallowing this evening but am resisting so far. Am going to bake my friend a cake to take round tomorrow as her hubby is cooking dinner and we are going out for a few drinks.
Well even in my splurge was spilled by debt busting refused to buy certain items because they weren't on offer.
So after half a bottle of wine, pizza feel very guilty and listening to a bit of abba (money money - how appropriate), belts & run DMC - listening to a generic music/ video channel!
Ruth poor Charlie. Only been there for one of my animals in the vets and mine couldn't have been nicer. Here's to hoping the weekend goes little better.0 -
