If you do book H0seasons, do it through quidco as you get cashback x

Ooo ty for that, didnt even think about cashback!

Just spoke to Dh on the phone and mentioned what I was thinking and he perked right up :o was very impressed with the price as well. Oh and I have the perfect reason to not allow him to try and turn it into a holiday abroad (though I admit I did sit this morning and start pricing it up and it was working out at about £500 :o) DS's passport has run out :rotfl:

I'm sure ill be back later asking you all 'do you think its worth paying double to go to the sun?' :rotfl: OMG im so indicisive

I am not going to say how much I have left to pay/paid so far as there is some posters who track all my post history and go on and on about it so I will just plod on paying off as much as I can and let you guys know when I am finally debt free.
I think that's pretty darn rude of them tbh, we all have our own crosses to bear but don't need them shoved in our faces.
I look forward to seeing your "yay I did it" post though :T:T we don't judge here xx

  • hello! been away for too long. Please OP can you change my original debt total, seems I was way too optimistic and my debt is 10013. However, I have managed to shift a good bit since January (yipee!!:T:T) so this is my total
    #151
    £611/10013

also can you please sign me up for the weightloss challenge - #151 56lbs by end of year
On my way to well earned riches (I hope!) :T:T:T
  • being working really hard this month towards paying off the debt. I am following the mantra of "looking after the pennies......."
    1. Sold a good bit of stuff that was lying around the house on gumtree so I am at £64 for that
    2. a quidco payment for £57.52 hit the bank last week
will be paying the credit card at the end of the month with this extra money.

It really is so addictive and empowering seeing these figures going down by doing as much "moneysaving" as possible. Makes me wonder what the hell I have been doing all these years!!

    thanks
On my way to well earned riches (I hope!) :T:T:T

Should be making a 2000+ payment tomorrow. Started off with debts at 13,500 but with interest it will end up having cost me a lot more than that. I am not going to say how much I have left to pay/paid so far as there is some posters who track all my post history and go on and on about it so I will just plod on paying off as much as I can and let you guys know when I am finally debt free. Right now at current rate it will be end of august....I'm more hoping for July at the latest. Just need to find that little bit more work to make all the difference.

What is it with people stalking DFWs? First antonia1 and now you. Some people really need to get a life, the trolls!

Well I hope you manage to be DF soon, with payments like that you'll soon be there, good luck to you :)

Just got CC bill, argh! Not only is the hotel for tomorrow night been paid on it (though that's not on this bill) I completely forgot I had to put a big shop on it because my bank card was stopped a few weeks back (due to possible fraudulent activity, thank you bank for not telling me before I tried using the card:mad:) A bit worried I'll only be able to pay off what's just gone/going on it rather than what's already on there (esp as DH has told me he's back at his £500 OD limit:eek:) meaning I won't really be making much of a dent in my debt after all :(

ETA - Just looked at what I should owe according to my sig (£5435) and what I do owe (£5664) and I'm £229 out (prob because we've used the CC) which means the £200 I was going to pay off on CC won't dent my debt at all, in fact I'll still £29 more in debt than I thought )

Hoseasons Parks aren't owned by Hoseasons - have you tried going to the site direct as they may do it cheaper still as they are not having to pay their commission to Hoseasons?
