Ah ty everyone for your well wishes for Miss Lily, shes currently in bed asleep and is absolutely COVERED in spots  its got to be the pox. Have popped her in the shower tonight with me and refused to let her use the shower gel as I was worried it might iritate her worse and shes scratched a few
slapped calamine all over her and chucked her warm fleecy pj's on, which I hope wont make her sweat and iritate. Thinking about that I will grab a pair of cotton ones out the drawer in case she wakes in the night sweating. Hoping cos its so blomin cold she will be ok.
SHes been really mixed emotions today, sometimes clingy and wailing, other times right as nine pence, plus she was cwtching up to her dad which is unusual as shes normally a mummys girl, so she must be feeling quite roughSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Big congats Kerri on the new addition to the family :j And a big thank you also for the tip on the bingo with cashback. I've managed:
Gala: £10 deposited, £18.50 won, £22.72 CB (not tracked)
Paddy Power: £10 deposited, £8 won (not yet withdrawn), £30.30 CB (not tracked)
Tombola: £10 deposited, £0 won, £20.20 CB (tracked)
Sun Bingo: £10 deposited, £0 won, £10.10 CB (not tracked)
Heart Games: £10 deposited, £132.08 won, £15 CB (not tracked)
Virgin: £5 deposited, £11.60 won, £5 CB (not tracked)
Total profit if cashback successful: £218.50! Even if none of the cashback comes through I'll still be up £115.18
Trying to register with Mecca but it wont take my deposit at the moment. That's at least a break-even (£15 CB with £15 deposit).
Happy Helen. Will see which ones track and then get OH to register, too. He'll need convincing that any profit is for debts and not treats though :rotfl::jDebt Free By Xmas 2013 #010 £16,660.26/£16,660.26 100% paid, DFD 25/06/13!:j0 -
I have spent the evening sorting all my spreadsheets out and reading up on snowballs. Happy to say that as a result I'm ready to say I've paid off:
#269 £1070.36 out of £17820.96
The snowball says that it will take me 3 years to get everything paid off but hoping with some ebaying/carboots/surveys etc I can get that down to 2.0 -
Morning all,
I have made another payment off the Vanquis this morning of £40 so please can I have my total updated as:

Well done to everyone who has been blasting their debt  and hugs to those that need them (especially Little Lily)

Just off to see the dreaded HSBC and then going to an O2 shop to see if I can blag a new phone by upgrading 6 months early for being a loyal customer for 10yrs. Don't hold any hope with either of them but we'll see, miracles apparently do happen!
Wish me luck! xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T
Debt at Highest: £43,073 :eek:0 -
:THi all a quick update for me, sorry haven't kept up with all the posts this week I have been too busy working to make some money yeah but I will catch up this week, this thread moves so fast I think I have about 40 pages to read.
Paid off £656.69 today so that brings my total to:
#259 Total £1684.52/£12,477.37
Still some things to pay this month but waiting on everything clearing in the bank to know what I have left, I have had a few unexpected maintenance bills I have had to pay over the phone but hey we survived January.
First time I did the grocery challenge in January and I came in under budget, it does make to you stop and think about what you buy at the supermarket. Signed up again this month hopefully I will do the same again this month.
Keep up the good work everyone I am off to do some more overtime.:DPay off ALL my debt by Xmas 2012 ChallengePaid Jan £1027.83/Feb £917.97/Mar £1353.67/Apr £1367.19#259 Total £4643.67/£12,636:eek:Lose 14lbs in 2012 9/14lbs:eek::TJanuary Grocery Challenge £263.98/£300:TFebruary Grocery Challenge £0/£300

Good morning everybody - hope you all feel well/better this morning including Pedro's friend and Lily
I have paid in ebay sale of £215 to my MBNA card and hope this makes me 20% debt paid :j
# 234 £2519/£12424
Still have usual direct debits to go on CC later this month so feel I have caught up from Xmas over spend. Need to find more things to sell tho as expenses are on the horizon - half term coming up and at Easter have a family party which needs night in a hotel.
A little advice please. Do people think it is better to sell books on Zapper for straight cash to pay off debts or trade in on Amazon (extra £5 given this weekend for 2 eligible items) which would then offset future purchases? I do tend to buy books occasinally on Amazon as in monthly book club.Debt Free. Have my Van.Find dream

Hi i used Zapper it is quite quick but they don't pay much for your stuff but i had so much it was easier than listing each thing seperately. So type in the bar codes and see what they offer, btw they don't take all books.
i got an email from them and instead of a cheque they will be changing to direct payments to your bank soon, so even quicker. hope you do well xxPay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2023 #59 £7008 Paid £570 Owing £6438 #1 H1 £151, #2 H2 £100, #3 O £200, #4 M £1500, #5 Z £295, #6 C1 £340, #7 L £1084, #8 N £840, #9 C2 £19300 -
