Actually, there is an actual pole at the south pole right next to the Amercian base and it's stripey like a candy cane...
There isn't one at the North pole however as it's not a land massNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Off to Cardiff now for me, don't want to go, still angry at the OH and have ignored his phone call for the first time in our relationship (I normally give in after the first ring but I'm feeling really hurt).

Kerri - congrats on your baby nephew :j.
Give your OH 'what for' - he needs to know he's being an inconsiderate so and so.
Jake's Mum - I hope your daughter feels better soon - it's horrible when they have chicken pox (once is bad enough) *hugs to both of you*.
Pedro - best wishes to your friend - hope he gets better soon.

Aye yi yi!! (I hope you all read that in the correct pronounciation- sort of spanish- think Dora the Explorer does Flamenco) ANYWAY I have just recieved a letter from my BIG boss (the one Im PETRIFIED of) asking me to attend an information session about becoming a manager!!!!! I am currently a franchisee so my money is VERY up and down (although I did make £800 this month) BUT a managerial role would carry a PROPER salary!!! A LOT more work but a proper salary
Im really chuffed that they have even considered me and am going to the session but may not actually go for it until this time next year or at least September when smallest dragon starts preschool!! How very exciting!
Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.
