Well been to doctors and they kept us there for 35 minutes  we got seen by the doctor who wasnt sure so got the senior doctor who said he thought it was chicken pox but because she had them before he wasnt certain, they then rang the paediatrics at the hospital who said they also thought it was chicken pox again but also couldnt be sure so we have to treat it as chicken pox but if anything at all changes with her its to the hospital straight away :(

Grrr, it's like being a baton in a relay, poor thing. All these well educated highly trained medical folk and not one amongst them has anything more useful to say than "well it might be chicken pox, but then again it might not, so lets just say that it probably is for the time being so we can appear to be doing something about it". The mind boggles :(

Spots were actually coming out in front of my eyes while we waited for the second doc and then the phone call to the hospital  im pretty sure it is chicken pox again its just this is the 4th time ive got that diagnosis :rotfl:. Bless her shes so miserable when it hurts and then shes fine for a while, then she cries again. Worst thing for her is the nursery ban as that is her only time out of the house unless we are going food shopping or to her grans as I cant get out of the house much myself :o

On the upside, think of all the money I will save not being able to pop to the shops :T :T

  • Yay managed to clear my over draft this month. Don't know how I have managed it but the only thing I think I have done different this month is to note down EVERYTHING that I have spent and on what. Grocery bill has dropped by £100 so think that is where it goes. Every penny has been accounted for.

I am rubbish with spread sheets but if anyone could help me how to set up one or if there is a template somewhere I would be very grateful. Quicker for me to write it down.:rotfl:

Thought some money would have gone into my account before the weeked but not.. Wanted to draw out cash to go shopping with but dare not risk it unless something goes out of account that am not aware of. Will keep track this month again and see how I get on. Wanted to make a payment also but will have to wait until Monday to do that.

    Have a great weekend everyone

I was about to say the same thing. My daughter had chicken pox at 11 weeks old. At 9 months she had them again but as they were just in one place - at the top of her thigh/buttocks the doctor said they were shingles.
  • Hello my lovely 2012-ers!! SO sorry I have been AWOL- Ive had work stuff EVERY weekend tis month and has been uber busy. So money wise Im pootling along ok BUT discovered yesterday that the interest on my Crapital One is 39.9%. I owe £1,900 and that is my absolute priority now. I have paid off AND CANCELLED AND CUT UP vanquis, paid off Simply Be, Very and Oli and now just have littlewoods open but im perfectly happy with that as its 0% and managed well. I have an overdraft now- £350 owing BUT its enabled me to pay off Vanqus so Im not overly concerned about that.
SO as of beginning Feb my mission is to pay off as close to £300 a month I can off Crapital One. According to the snowball thingy it will take me 12 months and cost me £315- thats way cheaper than a few loans I looked into! I have also been able to open a new Capital One account- the one which the interest drops every 3 months on down to 17% so I am not using it, but will bide my time for the interest to drop and hopefully cancel the other one once paid off and hang onto that one!

I hope evrybody is well- I have missed you lot- I dont have a hope in hell of catching up so fill me in on the important bits and Ill try to keep up from here!!
