Was hoping for a NSD today but had to drag myself to the shops to get milk and bread and ended up spending more than I hoped but on the plus side I now have enough rolls/pittas etc for three weeks worth of lunches once I freeze them (all reduced to pennies!), nappies for two months. Now just need to try and get most of the rest of this week as NSDs and put that money towards debts. I'm finding it much more difficult now that I have to put in three security codes just to access my bank account online and have the little key thing handy - not so easy to pay off debts when your bank is fort knox!
Hope you feel better soon Jake's mum - this time of the year is always really difficultJune wins: Benga tixJuly wins: Advent book:j0 -
Evening all, I was aiming for a NSD today but ended up having to put petrol in the car
did it at seashell so I could use my 100 points for 2 x 20ltr fills in Jan and this will be used for going down to the parents in 2 weekends time so won't need to buy it then. Did manage to avoid buying anything from service stations on my 3hr drive back from Wales, although ended up buying 2 creme eggs for £1 as I saw them and magpie shopped oops! But £1 is sooo much better than the £6.50 I would have spent on fried chicken in the services
Really proud of myself for this.
Checked the fridge and I had to throw out a massive bowl of mouldy pasta and two tubs of unrecognisable mould, oops. This is what happens when you go away for a week and a half. So left in my fridge is butter, vegetable oil, branston pickle, and beetroot. The freezer has some breaded nutlets, soda bread, and one tub of soup. So not a lot of help there for this weeks food =/ Thankfully I have oats, quinoa, rice, pasta and possibly some tinned toms and pasta sauces so I might be able to scrape together some pasta dishes and some yummy fruit flapjacks. I also seem to remember having some bread flour as well, so might have a go at homemade rolls with the yeast that's hiding somewhere.
Oh and my sisters baby is still cooking, one month to go but none of us think he'll hold in there for that long. My Dad reckons he'll be along quite soon which is really exciting I love that newborn baby smell.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
