Right then, time for the Xmas decorations to come down today. Still no update on any more debt clearance as my dd's and so's haven't gone thru (as much as I love bank holidays for time off work, wish some payments would just clear!), but will have a load going thru tomorrow so will be able to update then.
Was hoping to have my 1st NSD of 2012 yesterday but hangover was still hanging around in the evening from NYE so gf decided she wanted a Chinese take-away, she paid the majority but I added £2.40 to it.
Oh well, happy new year to everyone. Let's bust this debt in 2012:xmastree:Pay all your debt by Xmas 2012:xmastree:

my meal plan for the week is complete. I'm doing an 8 day plan this time round, because I plan to do my weekly shop on a Tuesday evening when my daughter is at Ju-jitsu - to avoid the "mummy can we get..." and hopefully stop me from buying silly things.
tonight's meal is lasagne and baked spuds - which will result in left overs for tomorrow's lunch at work (because I accidentally ate all the soup I made last night - it was really scrummy), tomorrow is soup night, which will give me left overs on Wed and thurs for lunch, and I'll just take a sarnie and fruit on Friday.
I've checked the store cupboards and freezer and made a list of everything I need to buy today, and really its not very much. After today I should only need to buy milk through out the week.0 -
Hey guys, thanks for giving us the heads up on the myfitnesspal website, I've spent most of the morning on there! My youngest sister (24yrs) is a bit prone to being a drama queen and loves spending her non existent money on any new fad (In November I talked her out of paying £180 to lose a dress size in a month with a personal trainer... and more recently I sincerely hope I've talked her out of paying for non-invasive liposuction on her credit card...!!! ) so I've sent her link to this website and let's see if she can realise that it will take hard work and dedication to lose the weight (just like our debt busting!). She needs to realise that there is not a magic wand (REDUCTO!! - sorry but I love Harry Potter...) that will instantly make you lose weight and if there was a magic cure that didn't cost a fortune then wouldn't the NHS have brought it out as it would save £billions in treating the obese...?
Wish I had an iphone so I could use the app... oh well, my current contract runs out in June but hopefully I will have lost the weight by then anyway!
I tried to get to grips with my finances last night (so sorry I didn't do any updating but will do it tonight I promise!) but my figures just look too good so I feel I'm getting something wrong... Once I've done everything I need to do today then I'll have another look and then hopefully post tonight just before I do my updating!
I put some more money in my sealed pot last night that I found, I had some £2 coins so not sure whether to join the £2 coin challenge again or leave that for my mum and I'll swap them with her for other change... I need to update my VSP figure too and will do it tonight once I've sort out my accounts and moved things around. I got my 1st NSD yesterday for January and am having a war with myself about today as I have loads in but I wanted to take my usual southern fried chicken breast fillets with salad tomorrow for lunch at work but my dad has apparently eaten them all from the freezer!!! We also have no bread so I'm umming and ahhing about whether to do a small shop for these items today but I'd lose a NSD and I also want to do well on the weekly challenge. AAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!! Why is it that I buy scrummy things but my family eats them and I have to replace them...
Anyway, well done on all your debt busting peeps, we've had a fantastic 2011 given that it was only for 6.5 weeks and included Christmas and New Year. I cannot wait to see the totals for each month in 2012!!!
Right, I'm off to tidy my room, do a cupboard/freezer/fridge inventory, do Pilates exercises/toning dvd/go for a walk, sort my finances out, photoshop 60+ items for my parents business, meal plan for the week. See you all later peeps! xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Good news - just paid a little over £100 into my Smile account... Need to pay this off slowly before I qualify. I took this approach with RBS (paying off in little chunks) and it seems to have worked... now down to £500 on RBS where it was about £1500 in the summer. It's great seeing my debts slowly decrease...

:heart2::heart2:So yesterday was a NSD for me, and i'm hoping today is also. Starting with my account, might consider doing the joint account in future!
Decided that today is an organisation day so will be aiming to put at least 10 99p things on fleabay and make a few crafty things. Must look at getting an etsy account, and finding other crafty things to make.
Future mse things for me (decided when in shower randomly!) are;
Check out mrT points before i go shopping to see if i can get more points on different brands, use the vouchers they send me.
Only go to places for dinner if i can get a money off voucher or offer.
Cut out coupons (watched that penny pinching programme on 4 - brilliant!
Get things when on offer but only if i will use them
Go through all my cosmetics that have never been used and fleabay
List some things on gumtree
Think thats enough to keep me going for now!1% challenge - Started Feb 2014. Cap1 card £1,073.42

Ok so I've been sitting at home quite bored cleaning the house just willing my dd's to go thru, but I know this will be tomorrow, so I have to decided to make a £1 payment off my next account to make me feel better!
So my new total is:

Thanks muppets, but I managed to have some NSD's instead
The broadband was more a talktalk issue than being in the back of beyond. I'm back in civilisation now though, but it was very peaceful and tranquil in Fishguard with some awesome fireworks at midnight NYE
