Ooh now you're asking! Genuinely I'm not sure. I'll PM you a couple of questions and see if I can work it out
It really doesn't matter if not, would just be cool if you could see how much less you had to pay each month when you make a paymentI know I'm not asking much!!

I think I sussed it out ... just PM'd you
If I'm correct what I've suggested is fine for anyone managing to pay off a bit of a chunk early in the year but would mess it up if it happened later in the year as it would still want to divide everything by 12.
I'll work on something to fix that0 -
Hi All, just need to vent b4 I do something drastic. I have taken over the Payment of credit cards (husbands and mine) since start of yr. so he gave me permission to open his cc bills which arrived today..needless 2 say it isn't good. His Canadian cc has gone past it's credit limit by a lot. The interest alone is over $100 this month. The $400 that I had put into his account is nowhere near the minimum payment that they want. Then I open another cc bill thinking it is a flyer from the same bank, but no- it is his English cc...the one he said he had just a few quid, practically nothing, just to keep the account open. So why do I see £2377.46 in the total which includes £12 for late payment last month?
I am at a loss to understand this man. I am sick of moaning about him. I cannot afford to keep supporting his spendy ways. The one good thing is that there are no new purchases on either card this month. If I ask him he will just shrug and say well I don't know howit happened. Are there any guys on tonight who can shed some light on how a mans brain works as I hv failed...badly.:('You've got to tell your money what to do or it will leave!' Dave Ramsey0 -

Ouch canucksfan that's not a nice surprise at all
whip the cards off him so he can't spend
I'm dreading when my OH gets a job in 18mnths and we're living together how on earth he'll cope with a) my hoarding b) a lack of spending money c) still feeling skint I have no idea. Are you able to draw him a diagram or something of how little spending money there is available because of these bills? or hit him round the head with them.
I'd be getting him to call them and sort them out, out of sight out of mind. Hopefully he'll start to feel some resposibility for them then. I can't think what else, but calling them might mean they can do something about a repayment plan to ease that interest, always worth a shot *hugs*Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Thanks K, I hv just had a massive row with him and unfortunately the kids heard it. As expected he just threw his hands up and said it wasn't his fault that the money going to pay off some of the UK cc bill was slow over Christmas. A diagram would b 2 complicated for him to understand...Grrr. A frying pan to the back of the head would b more effective...
I was supposed to be going out tonight to a school
Meeting, but I have cancelled going as some of the Board are squaring up for a fight...I dont need the stress. Think I will spend some money on me for the first time in ages.My shoes have holes and let in the rain so I am going shoe shopping tonight! Thanx for listening x'You've got to tell your money what to do or it will leave!' Dave Ramsey0 -
