I am currently trying to force myself to complete a form for the tax office to claim all my mileage back from last year (was a domiciliary carer) that should hopefully be a few hundred squids :)

I think I might have made a mistake, I agreed to pay wescott increased payments over the next 3 months. But this is actually going to cost me more in the long run. I'm contemplating calling them up and telling them that the money has to go to a different debt (freemans) instead as that will clear freemans. Obviously I won't tell them this, will just tell them on second thoughts I can't pay extra. This is going to increase my amount left to pay though and my % paid will decrease, which will make me :( What does everyone else think I should do? If I clear freemans then I will only have 1 account left out of the 5 that's charging me interest.

It may feel better to clear a whole debt sooner, but you've got to pay whichever is the highest interest, if that's Freemans.

I must post more... I must post more...

thanks for giving me a number. I've done a signature now, hopefully it's worked!

My debt may not seem huge, but to me, it seems a big deal. My dad was always bad with debt and we grew up poor because of his inability not to overspend what we didn't have. In comparison I'm quite good with money, but I did my nurse training a few years ago and became a single mum 6 months into the 3 year course, and this is the remaining debt from my time as a single mum student.

Also hoping I can shed some lbs as well as pounds too!

Trying my best to not let my boyfriend fill me up with Dominos pizza... trying to have willpower! Cooking us meals more and more than letting him buy us junk.
