Well done dorsetgirl
Jemma you need to find an activity that you can do that involves men. Preferably hot single straight men. What about football? *sniggers* Do you have any hobbies or interests that you could expand on to do as part of a local group? Oh well you know how I get with my OCD totals, it bugged me that I was having a 50p at the end of my total and that it wasn't a multiple of 10.... so I've paid another £7.50 to freemans taking them to a nice round £500

I know, I know... why do people make it look so easy??? All I want is a nice guy who will treat me well, make me laugh and accept me for being me.
It's been really difficult since moving out of the city to back home. Some of my uni friends are still in the city and even though it's not too far away (50miles) it's enough when you're watching the pennies and also they are all coupled up and so I feel like I'm intruding if I stay over and I can't afford a hotel.
Maybe I'm still just making up excuses as I'm scared of getting out there...
hmmmmmm... will have to go and have a serious word with myself :rotfl:New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Some of the things you say Jemma I can really relate too:
I too am 30
I too live my ma and pa when i'm not working away.
I too still have loads of debt after uni
I too have been single for along time (since 2005 ) and that guy was a complete douche bag! Put me off men for life!
Getting rid of my debt first then i will look for a man!
Well done to everybody for paying of debts and losing weight. I'm not weighing myself till the end of Jan. I have started pilates this week and I love it!
Payday in 10 days, will hopefully get along way under 12k! :beer:In debt no more!0 -
I met him through work - he is a contractor who is on our site occasionally. I'm quite lucky cos most of my colleagues are young and single, so we still go out. Tho they do act like children! We were just at lunch in the work canteen and he came in so two of the girls kept staring and giggling. It's a good job he has a sense of humour.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. Hey Jemma, are you feeling any better? That can be the worst pain. Have a proper rest and don't rush back to the business of tallying up percentages! :A'You've got to tell your money what to do or it will leave!' Dave Ramsey0
