Super focused on clearing the debt now spoken to a mortgage advisor and as suspected I will struggle to get a mortgage with a new business and a stack of debt. Whilst I have been working today I have also managed to upload some unwanted books and sold them for £80.75, anyone thinking of giving this a try make sure you get a value from various buyers as this was £20 more than another company offered me.
I have also moved my fleabay pile to the lounge now it has to be listed I cant stand the mess so that's this evenings job sell sell sell

Well that 4 days off went quick but here we are again into the working week so what has happened ......
I have managed 8 items on fleabay nothing like I used to do but small steps ;)
I have been on the road travelling too I look after my parents try and get there at least once a month to catch up on jobs and things they wont ask for help with or I cant do from a distance they are 250 miles away.
Using this site I have managed to save them £35 on their sky package with a cheeky phone call if you don't ask you don't get.
Today I have packed up my books they should be collected tomorrow so a little more money and a little more space. Also plenty of surveys between phone calls I will do whatever I have to, to see the back of the debt within reason LOL
Workwise well after a few calls I may have an introduction to a large company I'm not getting excited yet but this could be the boost my new business needs, I'm getting by but haven't we all done that for many years :o
I'm enjoying the short week and putting plans in place no debt overpayment yet but certainly plenty of savings been made that itself is an achievement as I think I can become complacent and think oh its only £2 or £5 but it all adds up
I will get round to adding my figures and my plan of action that's tomorrows job :)

So the figures are in and a total of £25750:eek:
I sat last night playing with the snowball calculator and I know what I need to do, I ve even made myself a chart to mark off for every £10 paid I like the fact I will be able to see it in black and white and its a constant reminder its pinned up in the office.

Ebay sales came in profit of about £15 I still have some waiting to finish and the lounge still looks like ive been burgled, I have no idea how I used to list 100 in a weekend.

I'm still hitting my SW target everyday and in my true style I have a spreadsheet which shows how many days it will take to make £25/£50/£100 so I know when to draw it down.

My biggest issue on the overpayment front is that it relates to my divorce I am still having to justify every little thing I earn or make and it will be held against me in the settlement. We all know eventually fleabay will dry up as there is only so much to sell so is not guaranteed income.
hopefully in the next few months it will all be over meanwhile my cash pot will have to build, court date still unknown.

Now back to real work until later when I may think of some other ideas where I'm making some pennies :)

Not such a productive day today but tomorrow can only be better
I finally have my court date for the divorce settlement its all such a waste of money but he clearly doesn't want to let go that's at the start of June, meanwhile I am trying to keep the business ticking over and make pennies anywhere I can.
On a plus I have managed another 12 items on fleabay with some gaining watchers at a fast rate fingers crossed I need to kill a card off ;)

So ebay items finished making me a tidy sum along with the bits I have pulled together.
So now with a 0 % BT on one of my credit cards I am down to one credit card and one loan, it helps me if I'm just throwing the money at one thing and I like seeing really long statements from the companies if I make daily payments :-)
I'm now going to concentrate on the credit card as I have some coming to the end of the 0% deal
So Friday night and what do I have planned oh yes fleabay living life on the edge again but needs must.

So overpayments made and the debt has come down if only by a small amount after BT fee was added, my aim is to get under £25k by the end of the month should be possible with monthly payments and still hitting fleabay.

I have decided once everything has settled from the divorce case I will start a new fresh diary, right now its like walking in treacle as I have no idea how all this will turn out. For now I will keep posting as I can look back and see where I have come from.

On a positive note I have rejoined the local library I love a good book and can quite easily find a good author and then I end up downloading the whole series
Whatever happened to the library vans I loved going to visit those when I was a kid and choose a few books, how things change but then maybe this is why kids don't like to read anymore

Also been hitting Swags hard as you can change for money in paypal any others which offer cash please let me know.

Oh and braved it applied for 2 night jobs, I run my own business its still very small so minimal wages and minimal work so a night shift would work well with it. If I could pick up a job like this my situation could change dramatically and right now I'm just sitting and waiting for D day in court :o Time to take control

Off to update the signature now

Big news from the HWG house !!! I have gone and got myself a night job :j Its only contracted for 18 hours but generally its up to 39 hours a week.
As you can imagine great excitement on the spreadsheet front this now means there really is light at the end of the tunnel, I have put all my figures in as the lowest wage I could get and anything else is a bonus.
I have decided to split the overpayments between the loan and the credit card as the loan has interest and the CC will soon start coming to the end of the 0% deal.

Only 30 days until court now and that could also change things dramatically but meanwhile I have a regular income the debt is going to be hammered down and I will have the ability to take over the small mortgage if it gets split that way :T
As for the business ive decided to not take a salary just take the odd dividend as and when we are making money, should work perfect with my other hours.
In other news I may have also rented a room out in my house they are coming to look at the weekend, shouldn't bother me as we will keep missing each other with the shifts and there will be someone in the house overnight when I'm working, I need to investigate what people charge for this as this is new territory for me
Monthly payments have been made so off to update my signature, looking forward to regular updates going forward as I believe the night job is weekly paid :T
