So a weekend of study deep joy but im sure it will be worth it in the end
Another £100 to the loan and 2 more letters from the bank telling me how much interest ive saved im almost tempted to split the overpayments down to daily just so i get so daily happy mail for a change :-)
I dont think there will be any extra overpayments this week unless i can magic some pennies from somewhere.
So onto another week roll on that bank holiday weekend it might just give me a chance to catch up on some urgent housework

    Well Happy 2015 !!!
Its been a while and so much has happened but i have decided i need my MSE friends back to help motivate me through the next year.
I became debt free and then life happened and here i am again, i dont regret any of the debt its come from self study from which i am now qualified although it was difficult it now gives me new options in terms of jobs. I also have a new car not brand new but new to me which will be needed to get to work. I have also put my son in private education for a year to resit his a levels the disruption from my split with my husband took its toll on him but he is now thriving in his new life with lots of oppertunites for his future.
So the nitty gritty Total debt £23805.31 Ooo that looks bad but after lurking on here for a few days im back to finish it off once and for all as its going to be a year of change.
I have made some payments moved things around so most of it is 0% except a loan i have which was for my car.
I have also had a mad ebay few days and currently have sales of over £170 most finishing this weekend.
New total i will post in my signature I want this all gone this year, my divorce will be in the next few weeks so new starts all around :-)
Sorry it could be a bit boring but its going to be an adventure and i will try and post daily to keep me on track.
I have just completed a list of food in the freezer and if im inventive i will make it to Feb payday without a real shop only fresh veg required as i dont drink milk or eat bread watch this space im feeling positive.......

A very busy and emotional weekend just dropped DS home after his 2 week holiday always hard to take him back but hes loving his new life and i cant take that away have to let them go at some point
Ebay has been very busy with sales of £320 just need to see whats left after everyone has paid and all those fees deducted seems like somebody has got greedy increasing them so much but needs must and the house is getting clearer
Hopefully an update tomorrow on my debt reduction woohoo!!
Back to work in the morning its come round so quickly but i have to tackle my boss this week after completing my exams he knows i can leave and double my money but i love what i do, but feel a little incentive is due to go with the large profit i have made him this year i think it should work both ways.

Sneaking back in after just reading my past entries, where has the time gone....
Life has had its ups and downs in the last year and the debt has grown however as before it hasn't been on silly spending this time but its certainly time to address the situation and deal with it one last time
    So where am I now........
I was made redundant in December
I qualified with finishing my exams
I started my own business in January 16
    Im still in the house
Im still fighting with the divorce and settlement (not the friends we were)
I have accumulated a large debt which needs to go, I do have plans on how to tackle it but certain parts of my life are still on hold.
I will be back later with figures and plans as one email today could mean the fighting is all over or we are going back to court, hence the increase in debt and a lot of wasted money.
I forgot how therapeutic rambling can be although boring for anyone who drops by :-)

Have a great day HWG x

Thank you nonnie44 but trust me this could get a bit repetitive but my mojo is coming back
So the email I was waiting for didn't arrive so court it is in the next few month, meanwhile I am focused on clearing the debt.
Figures still to be posted but its made up of a loan, 2 credit cards and a solicitor bill which is continuing to grow.
All bills are being covered even though im only taking minimal out of the business, now I need to make a little more to bring those bills down and ensure the business starts to grow.
So back to my old ways sell anything which isn't nailed down and considering an evening or weekend job depending on what progress I can make.
I hoping in the settlement I get to keep the house take over the mortgage and then pay that off as soon as the debt has gone.
I would like to say im off to empty cupboards but quite enjoying surfing round the boards at the moment looking and reminding myself of all the fab ideas I had forgotten :-)

Well a day of lots of ideas floating around, so its best to get it all down and out of my head before bedtime.
Paid my wage today only the minimum to ensure all my bills are covered and a little over the minimum payments.
I need to get the debt gone but this could happen easily once the divorce settlement is through but in true MSE style why wait it could be put straight to the mortgage instead making life a whole lot easier for myself.
My main worry is who from or how will I get a mortgage, I have a new business which I take a small wage from plus I have debt at the moment. On the positive side its not a big mortgage I will need and my parents have hinted they would guarantor it if it helps and I only need 35-40% LTV so at this stage it makes sense for me to stay in the house and pay off the mortgage.
I have paid thousands off in the past and this new debt is from education for myself and my son and solicitor bills so I don't feel guilty im not a spender
As it stands I have approx. £30k of debt one loan and 2 cards both on 0% so how do I get this cleared I guess its fleabay to start with clearing the clutter not that there is much but you never know
I also may be able to get some part time work in the evenings something I think I will look into im open to any ideas
Ahhh that's better its out of the head and im challenging myself to 20 items to be listed tomorrow

So an hour ago I was writing everything down trying to get my head around it all, and now ive made some positive steps. I have contacted a mortgage broker hopefully they will call tomorrow its sometimes best to actually find out the facts instead of guessing that way I don't have to have plan a,b,c,....
I have a small cc and that is my main focus moneywise fleabay is the priority not sure how but I want it cleared by the end of May
