We here I am again new year new diary and im hoping last and final diary well at least under DFD.
A few of you may know me and although the start of last year was very good things have changed in the last 5 months, causing us to fall off the wagon hence an increase in the debt.
So the total debt as at today is £29063.83  I still have a few payments to make and this should decrease throughout the month of January.
I am starting a new job in January and will be weekly paid so will be constantly making overpayments I hope so long as the temp work keeps coming.
We are looking at a DFD of September 2012 although to make sure we get there we will have to be very strict with ourselves.
Ebay is going to also get lots of use as its possible we will sell the house next year so a declutter is in order.
 Cheers to health wealth and happiness in 2012 !!

Hi HWG
Nice to have you back - I have subscribed!!
Sorry your relationship is not going well but hopefully once the debt has gone you will be able to think about things a lot clearer (((HWG)))
DH and I combined have about the same amount of debt as you but I don't think we will be paying it up by the end of the year although I would like to. To be honest we have seperate finances so I am looking after his and keeping it ticking (only because he is ill and has no spare money as all his income goes on minimum payments and acupuncture!!) and trying to pay mine down with my income
Good Luck0 -
Hi HWG, lovely to have you backDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0

Oh thanks guys its nice to have been missed.
Started my new job today and i think its going to be ok but either way just keep thinking of the pennies, not sure of payment date from the agency so need to sort that tomorrow so I can plan so overpayments.
Im hoping to get the debt under £27k by the end of Jan but my goal will be to get under £20k by 1st March its going to take some work and the dreaded ebay but I want this so badly now.
Had a good weekend with DH so a little progress being made there I hope fingers crossed.
Ebay money came in today so £20 to HSBC still expecting some other small payments this week so need to get them paid off too.MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

Well no payments made today but last night i tried to to a BT to an empty card I have 6 months 0 % and i got an error message saying this is not possible so i guessed credit not good enough, however i have had a call from the card saying its processing it now and it was a security check. I guess i will have to wait and see the card balance is showing the BT is going through fingers crossed and thats another £6800 on 0%
On a plus note we have some money coming to us in June from my DH work bonus scheme but I would love to be able to just bank it but im not sure i can clear all the debt by then I have a DFD of Sept 2012 and thought with some ebaying and anything else I can do I could bring it forward to August 2012.
Well looks like my job for the weekend is ebay and sorting more stuff in the house the ebay mountain is growing just need to find some energy to get it on
Hope some quidco money will be in tomorrowMARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

:j Great start to the day BT has gone through so more savings on interest although the debt has gone up slightly I have made a small paymnet of £20 to HSBC this morning and i will make another tonight to clear HSBC in full.
Now all i have to do is hope HSBC offer me a deal and I can BT the rest of the interest paying cards to it so we can hammer the debt. I never thought we would ever get to the position most cards were on 0% so im proof it can be done.
I will update all my figures later and start planning my mammoth ebay upload for the weekend.MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

Well another good day at work shame its only a temp contract but who knows fingers crossed it may go on for a while.
So all the payments made for today and I have my updated figures and priority of how they will be cleared best news is we are under £29k.

2. HSBC £8310.00 - 17.9%
3. Lloyds £5560.00 - 0%

Chased up some holiday pay from an old job and £149 will hit the account tomorrow so will pay it off Mint my aim is to get Mint under £6000 by the end of January I will be using part of my weekly wage which should help.
