    Well - you are 3/5 down - 2/5 to go! :j:j

    You can do it!

I've gone from about 18k at my worst to having about 1k just now - buts its my 30th and OHs 40th this year so im spending on cc just now for a few treats - wont let it get above 2k tho - I dont want to look back and think wish id done this or wish id done that for our b'day's. I have been MSE and used tesco vouchers to get airmiles etc to go away tho.

My issue is even once things are paid off, Im still a spender!! Living within my means is my challenge for my 30s!

Wow well done that must be fantastic to be so close to the end.
I had planned on clearing the debt and then next year i am 40 and DH was this year so was hoping for an amazing holiday just the two of us that now is out of the window but i guess there is no reason why i cant go on my own scary but something im going to have to get used to.
Payday today so hopefully another £200 to debt and a debt which has no interest on it :)
Also won £10 on lottery and made £15 on amazon so will transfer that later today every little helps.

Wages were in and sent £200 to Lloyds this is my next card to go as once the 0% deal runs out end of June interest is at 25% +
Im hoping this will be long gone and then i will close this account for good Lloyds have had enough money from me im just using them now for the 0%.

On the bad news of the day i didnt get the weekend job i went for so im really :( didnt really need that to knock my confidence anymore but i guess it wasnt meant to be.

There is defnitely no reason that you can't go away on your own HWG - most of my travelling I have done on my own. It's so scary at first but then you meet so many nice people and have such a great time. Being on your own definitely means you meet more people. Do give it some thought, especially as you really deserve some time away :)

Sorry to hear about the weekend job :( Maybe this wasn't meant to be because there's something else better around the corner?

And you're still doing so well with the figures and no-one can take that away from you :D

Well if the clearing the debt is the only thing i can do with DH i guess its positive for both of us when we go our seperate ways

Your right Beccie maybe i should bite the bullet and just go for it on my own I may have a google but i know im more than happy to just lay in the sun for a week can you do that on your own ??
Maybe thoughts of holidays should go until i get myself sorted in a permanent job

Maybe things will get better for you and DH once the pressure of the debt has gone?

And of course you can lay in the sun on your own! I've not been on that type of holiday by myself but have met lots of people who were when I have. As a group we were more than happy to spend time with other people and built up nice groups who would meet by the pool in the day or go for drinks in the evening. It's a lot more common than you think - people go away on their own for all sorts of reasons :)

Woohoo 4 days off work after today just what i need to catch up on some much needed sleep.

Small payment today to Lloyds £10 from a lottery win at the weekend. Not much planned for the weekend the weather seems to have put paid to anything i could have done so going to take each day as it comes and try not to spend more than my pocket money :rotfl:

I must sort my car insurance but dont want it to hit my cc until after my new statement so leaving until the last minute to get max interest free period :money:
Happy Easter everyone hope you all enjoy the break :D

Well its been a quiet and fairly cheap weekend thankfully.
Payday tomorrow so £200 to Lloyds and also paid £25 in coin into the bank so will transfer that over too.
DH has been busy with ebay so between us we have listed 80 items plan on getting a few more on later today, im about £150 short of where i want to be at the end of the month so hopefully this will fill the gap.
Just looked back at the start of this diary and we have cleared almost £10k this year so we are cetainly moving forward just hope it continues

£115 to Lloyds I have kept some back as the account is looking a bit short but if we can go without using it I will send the other £100 over sunday
Im still waiting for the coins to credit the account i will check again later as Lloyds is waiting for it ;) Also it looks like DH has been spending on the account im hoping it was fuel then i can take it of our budget and things will look much better

Ebay is looking good 2 bids and over 60 watchers i really hope this brings some more pennies so i meet my target of £18500 at the end of the month
