Fleeting visit tonight, just to report 2 for the SNC pls bearacus and 1 AFD under my belt for Feb thanks Shaggy.

As ever, much appreciation for keeping scores both of you xx
  • Hi

Really struggled tonight. Kids had after school activities. They had something to eat before we went out but I didn't have time. Wine is always more appealing when I'm hungry! When we got in, I got the kids a snack and got them ready for bed. Then I stood in the kitchen like a right numpty, looking at what I should heat up to eat and wrestling myself away from the fridge where the wine is.

Gulped down tonic and lime instead and had my tomato pasta :rotfl:Feel okay now. Soooo glad I didn't pour the first glass. I'll feel much better tomorrow morning and will sleep better tonight. Yaaaay, go me!!!!!

1 more for the SNC please

    Much love X

Well done for sticking to your target despite huge temptation. Could you keep a couple of snack packs of crackers etc for similar times in future? When I was working I always had something like that in the cupboard for those just got home from work and don't know what to eat days.

1 AFD for February Shaggy please - I'm on my way :)

Well done:T You reminded me of the HALT (Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired) mantra, all triggers for drinking! You did so well to resist.

Well done all those off to the best start for February, including me:D I did hear a few tinkling bells on the way home. It was getting dark, I was hungry too and seeing people enjoying themselves through lit up bar windows started to call me. But I just came home, made my supper and then settled happily with my mug of tea.

1 for February and 3 for the SNC please.

P.S. Good luck to MrR, and thanks lurkers for wishing us well.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Just had to say thankyou Shaggy for keeping scores - I honestly felt like I was standing up on the centre podium at the olympics getting my gold medal this morning when I saw the little 10/10 man :D

LOL! They are very special - I don't get to use them that often :D:D:D
