Hi everyone,
I managed my planned AFD on Wednesday but I was much more tempted because I had good news and was offered a job for a few months and wanted to celebrate. I didn't, though. I was out as planned last night, drank too much and am feeling the worse for wear today.
Shaggy, that's 9/10 for me please and Mackeroo, my 3 SNC nights ticked this week.
Tracy, I'm pleased for you that he's happy to change his plan for you and the dates are going well.
Satchmo, so sorry about your screen, that's exactly the kind of thing I'd do. Well done for finding an mse ish solution.
Get fully well soon Maman.
Julie, good luckon you big wardrobe project.
41, good luck with getting back on that pesky old wagon!0 -

41 - Don't beat yourself up, keep posting on here - Jak seems to be awake when you are lol

Hello everyone... Well bad day day today, I had the meeting with my boss and I've been sacked. Apparently, it has nothing to do with my being off sick this time but is because of short notice due to little ones illnesses when I've had to stay home. I will get one weeks pay instead of notice and 7 days holiday pay. So end of story there. Now usually I would be drinking by now. I'm not very good with bad news. But I'm not so I suppose that's something. I sometimes feel like life goes on without me. All my friends are pretty sorted with their jobs and cars and houses (and husbands) and I feel left behind.
I'm trying to think positively, at least I won't have to rush around and pay out for taxis anymore, but it's difficult to be called unreliable. I mean, I suppose I was but only because if my son is sick, I don't know til he is actually sick and I can't help if that happens on the way to school or first thing in the morning. Sigh.
Just spent 40 mins on the phone to income support: marital status: divorced, own house? no. savings? no partner? no. Just shoot me now! Honestly, I know they have to ask but it's a bit bloody depressing!
I have decided that my mission this weekend is to list 100 things on ebay. I need to raise the money to pay my Dad back and I'm going to have to do it the making money way, as I'll have f all to live on now... x2022 Comp total (prizes + free spins): £494.81 #20 £12 a day Jan: £382.95/£372 #57 360 1p challenge: £17.70 £10 a day Feb: £571.09/£280 March: £311.96/£3100 -
18 days in a row for me now. Think this is the longest time I've not drunk alcohol since I think January 2006.0

Hi everyone. I've drunk 600mls of wine 11% so far, not drunk as yet, but stomach hurts. The SNC is wrong for me because last night and tonight are not AF, Mackeroo, so no clapping for me lol. Aware of what I am doing, I think. I am quite good at fooling myself.
Jak, you can take your employer to a tribunal I think, start a new thread and get some advice from MSE forum. A friend of mine down the school took Specsavers to court and won due to similar circumstances, she now works for Admiral and is happy. They are pulling a fast one, end of. I'm going now because no-one probably takes me seriously because I've been drinking, but I know what I'm saying just got this horrible pain in my stomach probably acid, Jak they should not have sacked you but I'm not the expert so please if you want to, start a new thread and get some advice here there are so many people who know about employment law.
