AF 13/31
This is definitely the longest time I have been AF IN AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER.
I am off work now until next Monday, using up holidays, normally I would be thinking 'I can drink as much as I want because I don't have to get up', but no - I am looking forward to clear headed days that will be productive and fulfilling.
All the posts are making me think about what I am doing, and I know that there are many people in the same boat as me. Trouble is we drink to celebrate when we are happy and drink if something goes wrong or we are sad. It's a no win situation for us. We have to learn to concur and cope without it, wether it be a celebration or commiseration.
I lost 1lb this week in the biggest loser completion at work, which I am pleased with because I am concentrating on being AF this month and then February I will try to curb my eating as well.
Good luck this week everyone - stay healthy

14/22 AF for me, now. Am very wary of feeling pleased with myself, as I think it's a bit too early days yet.
Someone once joked "if you lend someone £20 and you never see them again, that was £20 well spent". I donated some money to charity in lieu of the wine I didn't buy this weekend. I'm luckily debt free after a very long struggle to get straight after a costly divorce (btw I'm female, and supported the teenage children, but got stung by an ex who reneged on every agreement made, who siphoned money from a joint account, and walked away from hefty joint business costs #not bitter). What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
8 please, Shaggy, thanks0
