as I've put on almost half a stone over christmas:eek:
Me too - from mid Nov to now :eek:What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

I always wanted to get to the stage where I could drink 'normally' and retain control of my drinking.
It took me a long time to realise that I will never be in control of alcohol. When I have one drink, then all bets are off as to when I will stop drinking.
I want that second drink more than the first, the seventh more than the sixth, etc.
It's the first drink that gets me drunk, as it invariably led to more drinks.
I now realise that I cannot drink ANY alcohol safely. Thus my limit today is zero. And I am happy with that.I am the same as you GC and thats why I went AFI am the same as you GC and thats why I went AF
I have a very different relationship with alcohol - I like to drink a little but often. However that can be bad for you too - say a large glass of wine = 3 units = 7 days = 21 units which = unhealthy.
I've never liked the feeling of being drunk or drinking too much. However, a little too often can be bad for you too.
Which is why I'm a cutter/downer and why counting AFDs and units works fo me.:)What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again.
