    8/22 AF for me please.

Poorly doggie is feeling quite a lot better today, and even managed a reasonable walk this evening - which was also good for me.

I must have looked a right narna (don't know the origin of that word but substitute prat for an approximate meaning).

    Satchmo x

Hi Satchmo, that's good news! And I think you are calling yourself a banana; think that's where it comes from.
Well done to Jak, Top Girl and soo many others. Get well soon Maman!

That's another one for me; 4/10 please Shaggy and another school night sober. Quite enjoyed it last night too. :-)

Another AFD yesterday, even though it was my weekly bingo. Got through it no problem, and didn't even fancy a drink. Even drove there (ok it's only 2 mins) but this was the 1st time I'd driven anywhere in the 9 months since mum died, so feeling well chuffed with myself :j.

And work wasn't too bad either....I could even see my desk :rotfl:

Anyway that makes 8 AFDs and 2 SNC. Keep up the good work ev1.

Good to hear everyone sounding so determined.:T

Thanks for good wishes. I don't want to tempt fate but I think I may be improving on my THIRD course of antibiotics! Hopefully desire to drink will not return as I get better.

    7 AFDs please Shaggy.

9/22 AF now. I'm off to Zumba class now, so hope everyone has a demon-free evening.

WBF, I wondered whether narna came from rhyming slang along the lines of banana split = twit, doesn't our language contains some strange and wondrous phrases!
