Thanks Tracey. I'll give it a go....
7 af for me (and 9 in total!!!!) I went to another meeting today and iy was brill! I also weighed myself today and i've lost 3/4 of a pound which is a minor miracle considering how many sweetes ive eaten this week! The diet is ON now. I've been advised to not worry about my weight but I know that if I don't lose weight i'll go back to the wine cause my old diet factored that in and I lost a fair bit. Anyway, just me being me. As long as I can keep going with no wine and do my exercise hopefully things will start to take shape.
My little man is at his Daddys tonight so i've had to be careful to get lots of snacks in and stay away from the shop! (Would be 5 doors down!!!!) I'm sure they're looking at me funny cause I normally buy tons of wine in there! Methinks their profits may be taking a drastic nosedive!
OOOh just as an aside, my skin is so much nicer than it was, it actually looks nice for once instead of a strange grim kind of grey...
Well done everyone, and appologies for self-indulgent essay X

Another 1 af 5/31 woow. Had a bottle of becks blue last night with lime..both me and dh couldnt tell the difference between that and alcholic one. seeing as dh is a beer drinker thats a big compliment to becks beer! Starting to feel proud of myself everynight!

Well done to all the peeps who managed an af, to those who didn't its a brand new day and a whole brand new week..best of luck xx
Personally I think Becks blue is grim, I would recommend Tiger non-alcoholic, best non-alcoholic lager I've tasted.
  • Hi all

    AF-6/31

Couldn't get to sleep again last night, and had a stressful day at work. Been to the gym and for a swim and now looking forward to a cup of redbush tea. Hopefully I can sleep tonight.

We decided at work we are going to do a biggest loser competition, I got weighed at they gym and I have about 1st 7lbs to lose. I am concentrating on no alcohol for all January and will then think about my diet as I am still craving sweet food and would rather have that than any wine. Still going to join in the competition thought, as its a good incentive, as there is so many calories in wine.

I've sorted my cd/DVDs for music magpie, feel better even though they are only worth about £10 it has kept me occupied for a while. Going to do my wardrobe next, music magpie also take clothes, and any they don't I will send to charity or the bin.

    Love this clear head!

Well done everyone, everyone is doing so well.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
