What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Morning all,

I hope everyone had a great xmas and NY.

I haven't done too badly alcohol wise, but since xmas eve I have drunk most nights, not silly, but just had some. I have lost count but my Dec total is probably approx 20/15.

For January I would like to do 18, but aiming for 20 if I can. That gives me 2 non AF a week and you never know I might do a December and do another 15 days straight or whatever it was.

I wasn't AF last night, I had 2 measured units, but as from tonight back on the wagon.

When I reflect back though I can now say my drinking is much more controlled and I feel happier that I can achieve what I set out to do. I really wanted to be a social take it or leave it drinker and I think I am there. YEsterday I was at a friends house for lunch and she offered me a glass of wine, I really didn't fancy it and just stuck to water. I did have a vodka in the evening though, think that is habit.

Will make sure I have plenty of soft drinks in now.

    Happy NY everyone.

Thanks shaggy, already seeing that target makes me want to aim for it all the more! I woke up feeling pretty shocking at 6am, and ended up going back to bed! I'm off to have some toast and tonight I will be raising a mug of hot chocolate before bed, and getting back into a routine as I go back to work on Monday!
