12/15 AF for me, please. I went to Aquarobics tonight, whoo it was hard work. I think my muscles will be complaining tomorrow. I probably undid all the good by having a pizza as soon as I got home - but NO WINE despite the demons urging me on!
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

  • 10 AF please Shaggy Managed fine with no drinking last night, but seem to have 'rewarded' myself tonight with a large glass of vino:o I know why Thursdays are my downfall, as it can be a pretty full on day at work compared to other days.

Wont be AF over weekend, girls night out Fri and then to friends for dinner party on Sat night. Wishing you all a fab Friday

    Hello

Tonight I made a decision to have a drink of gorgeous red wine with my other half - given to us as a present.

I have completed 10 days with no alcohol and tonight I am having some.

Tomorrow i shall return to sobriety.
Moderation is what I believe I need to embrace!

Thank you all for your support. I am sure that I am not the only one that actually derives a great deal of support from this thread. I know the names and look to see how others are fairing! It helps me on whatever level. I do know that!

    Thank you all.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Have come to post to confess!
I drank again last night :(
So an appaling 50% for the SNC...
Will try to be good this weekend - feeling hormonal, which drinking makes me worse anyway! One day I will learn

    ......One day I will learn

    Me too:o

I've been thinking about why I did it. I'm really great now at finding the stop button when I'm out. No longer do I watch everyone else's glass as mine is empty and I need more. At home I have this habit of opening a bottle while I'm cooking supper and just pouring it down my neck. By the time it comes to the meal the bottle is almost empty and I've had enough! I did exactly this last night, felt really squiffy, fell asleep watching TV then switched to a big mug of tea to sober me up.

I enjoy a drink when I'm cooking but I must learn to pace it. Any ideas? Anyone else behave like this?
