  • 4 AF days since Tuesday night bottle of wine and brandy in coffee. I cant remember the last time i went out not on a self-destruction mission. Cant wait til the next night i know it will be a while hope i can resist the booze in the fridge no room for food so in my sick mind i think if i drink it then room for food. its not my booze and i think he deliberately buys a shedful when on offer to prove hes clever with money so am i but i dont buy copious amounts of booze to prove it, and then he waits for me to succumb.

today is my 350th consec AF day, the day after my birthday will be the year anniversary.

I can honestly say I dont miss the booze as I have reprogrammed my tiny mind to think "Isnt it great to wake up on a Sunday morning feeling good and MOTIVATED to do something".

Take heart all of you, if I can do it so can you !.

That's just what I needed to hear. I am so proud of you every day is an achievement, a year well mind-blowing. Your body and mind are probably reborn and you did it on your own, with support true but you went through and came out the other side.:beer:of water etc i wish i was you right now.

  • Morning everyone :)

Another af day yesterday, so reached 7 days this month, and will most probably be today. Big hugs, and positive vibes to all who need it, as understand how they feel.

    Wishing everyone a good day.

    Afternoon :hello:

No AFDs to report but I should be jumping back on the wagon tonight.

Time to set targets for October. Personally, I'm hoping for a big number of AFDs in October. The last 2 months have been so stressful (with my sisters breast cancer diagnosis and the consequent raising of my own risk) so it would be nice to have a calm month with less stress and lots of lovely AFDs, lots of lovely exercise and lots of lovely weight loss, (is that too much to ask of the gods?) I even turned down an invite to a party next weekend because I just don't really wanna be around alcohol.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

That's great unself! I can't even comprehend an AF Saturday! Well lets just hope I can do an AF Sunday or I'll miss my target of 6:o

Shaggy - can I have a target of 8 for October please? Surely I can do 2 AF days a week.

    Take care all.
