    Morning all!

Well it's a lovely sunny day here so far!

Shaggy can I add 1 AFD to my total please.

I have just entered myself for a 10k race, now this means I need to sort myself out ASAP and gives me an incentive to do so. That being the case I am going to not be drinking in the week, I have no alcohol in the house, I have put my card away and only have a very limited amount of cash in my purse - so here goes for day 1! Anyone care to join me?

    Mari x

    Morning everyone
Not much to report here other than June has been a big disaster on the AF front for me, no more AF's to report. However ive decided today is the day i will draw a line under the first 18 days of June and start afresh. So here is my line

Its a lovely day here up in mackeroo towers, the sun is shining which is unusual and before work im going to stop off at supermarket and buy lots of nice healthy food for lunches and dinners this week. When my AF halo slips so does my healthy eating and exercise halos as well. But no more!!
Hope everyone has a good week x

Hoping Mr Rainman is feeling better or gone to see his Doctor.

Thanks for that, I'm sorry, I didn't realise, I assumed Mrs R meant just concentrated urine that you can get through dehydration.

I hope Mr R is feeling better.

Markman, that's great news, a real happy post, well done you!

Mackeroo, good luck with the line and I love your strategies.

Im not stopping here long today, i feel rubbish, i've woken up with stomach cramps and feeling very sick. Managed to get a friend to take No.1 to school and No.2 is currently parked in front of the tv. Hoping i recover quickly.

Dh and I are still up and down, i can't "read" him like i used to which concerns me and sometimes i dont know where i am at all with him. He assures me things are fine, but his eyes say otherwise.......hmmm. Well i haven't got the mental or physical energy to deal with that at the moment, just concentrating on not being sick.

Missrlr, hope your feeling better now, I am starting to, but have little energy or concentration. Least the kids are behaving themselves. Today will be an AF one for me as I actually don't want any alcohol after today, i have that repeat blood test in the morning so want my system clear for that and I have set myself a target for the SNC this week. Obviously today and wed/thurs will be taken care of, but tomorow will be trickier to hold onto the will power and i'lll be home alone overnight except the kids of course.

I have lots to do but feel very unmotivated today and the week will be flying by. Can't believe on Wednesday No.2 has her first induction day at school.

Uh oh, she has just appeared telling me her tummy hurts........

My APAS conselling is just what I needed - they are not telling me I must stop drinking forever, they are just trying to help me get down to a level I am happy with and providing advice and tips for getting there (and its not the governments 21 units!).

    Good luck with this Mark.

I and several of my AA friends have been on "controlled drinking " courses.

Sadly they do not work for alcoholics.

Popping in for an evening update:

Have been AF today, kept myself busy in the garden since I got home, then tea and a long bath. Now curled up with a book and some jasmine tea :)

Sending hugs to all those feeling poorly tonight.
Cuppa Tea Glad to see someone else trying for the SNC hope your little one recovers for her induction day ad that your blood tests go OK.

    Night all xx
