    Afternoon all

    3 please Shaggy

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Funeral went well (as well as they can!) but it was a very long day. My Mum was quite upset but cheered by the arrival of our relatives from Scotland. It was lovely to see everyone, despite the circumstances. And I was very proud of myself. Alcohol was available in abundance at the Wake, but I stuck to soft drinks. Think my Mum was amazed, to be honest!:rotfl:

And now I'm glad thats all over. I know my Mum will be low for a while (she is very close to her brothers) but I think everyone feels a bit better once a funeral is over with. And now I can get on with enjoying the business of Easter weekend with Piglet! :)

    AF here this evening.
The bells are ringing very loudly, so trying to keep busy and focus on the financial side of it rather than just the health side. The wine i drink is £7 a bottle, so just 2 bottles a week is £14. NOT CHEAP!!

    Morning all

    4 Please Shaggy

Hope everyone is having a good easter weekend?

Maman - have a lovely time in Torquay! Some of my younger days were spent there - I dated a drummer in a rock band....hard to believe now!!:rotfl:

Hi all, 6AF now for April please Shaggy[/COLOR

Was tempted to buy wine last night, just the thought of one glass whilst watching the tv was calling me - I resisted thankfully - had another diet Dr Pepper lol
Then I thought I might buy some for tonight, wine and X Factor etc etc....
The thought of how well I have done is stopping me, and am just going a day at a time now
Said to Sis I would try for 3 months, she literally:rotfl:!!!

Am halfway there at least now

Am off to the pub tomorrow aft for a local band day we have every bank holiday - will drive to avoid temptation I think, even thou quicker to walk.

Right, I said I would decorate my DS bedroom this weekend, so far, have brought the paint and looked at it :)
    Best get busy
Hope you are all enjoying the long weekend x

Well done Tracy for resisting the bells.
    Enjoy the holiday Maman!

7 AFD please Shaggy.x This is my 54 consecutive AFD :j. I am struggling with bells so often now though. When I get to 9pm I am okay. It is clearly something that still calls to me.
