Hello all, I haven't posted for ages, but still lurk periodically.
Condolences to you and your Family RachelW at this difficult time.

Today is my 365th day alcohol free - I had hoped to spend it at Go ape with ds2, but a chest infection has laid me low (hence no sleep as I woke myself up with my barking cough),

In a funny sort of way it is a comfort to know that there are still some old faces still on this thread, continuing with the challenge, but more importantly offering support and kindness to newbies. It certainly got me out of the pit I found myself in a year ago.
stay well all and keep up the good work

AF here last night makes 5 for me assuming this month I can count
Had planned free day out but rain means this is not looking like a good option. DH slept badly due to alcohol consumption over weekend, smugly I slept well, but I had my tossing and turning at Mums due to the incinerate heat level her house is set to

I am not AF this evening. Have been to mums' today at to be honest it was ok. Had a bit of a wobbly when I read a letter of coldonesnces to us all, to my sister. Went through her wardrobe and managed to sort most of that out. Then came across the thousands of photos..and I really mean thousands. We pulled out a draw where I knew they were.... then found loads more in mums' wardrobe.......Then when we went into the back bedroom that was a different story............There are thousands of photos in there and have no idea where to begin...we need a few for a montage for the service. Have brought a few home but my kids weren't interested! Maybe it's just a personal thing for me, my brother and sister....

    Morning :hello:

Hoping you all had a good Easter. I clocked up 2 more AFDs - just had a little Champers Easter day and 1 lager.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
