    one more for me please!

lala1974, i completely understand what you mean about going out and remembering what happened. by other peoples accounts, my wedding night was an epic night, all i remember is getting VERY drunk, matching the boys' drinks with free poured JD and coke (they stopped counting at 30 drinks, and they said they had to change the back bar JD bottle for me ) and trying to convince the New York ambulance service i didn't have alcohol poisoning and didn't want to go to hospital whilst sitting on our hotel bathroom floor muttering about health insurance and the NHS being completely awesome!

[edit: should prob also add the ambulance arrived after DH admitted he spent 30 mins dialling 999 and getting nowhere and shouting at the phone for not working. think the hotel switchboard twigged what he was trying to do lol]

did you see in the news last summer that some guys in America had single handedly caught some on the run murderers? we met them in the bar we were in because they'd been in NY to go on the Today show. apparently my mother in law got drunker than i did and started flirting with them and my DH nearly started a fight with a murder-catching real american cowboy for coming onto his mother. and i cant remember a thing of it!

Managed another AF night here so up to 6 - pleased with the result over the weekend, had a lovely bottle of wine with friend over lunch and then only 1 glass of wine with dinner and port with cheese when with parental types so all better there. Also even though did not drive I still didn't drink last night. All good. Have I managed to get a handle on this one? Am I jinxing myself - probably but if I can state here I can do this then perhaps I make resolution stronger.

    Afternoon all

    6 please Shaggy

Rachelww - things probably seem very hard at the moment, especially having to sort through your mums things. Many ((hugs))

Mari - so sorry to hear about your Dad. Many ((hugs)) to you too.

lala - well done you !!!:TYou are in a place I aspire to be. What you say about being able to think more clearly and be more upbeat - THATS what I need (and am trying to get!).

Well.....things are achanging in the piggy house :D After several years of refusing to have pets, OH has finally given in to mine and Piglets pestering....and we are getting a house rabbit on Friday!!!:rotfl::T And also, after the dramas with the Swan Egg (which Piglet got rather attached to) Dad is bringing round today an incubator and some chicken eggs....so we will be having little chicks soon too!!!:T OH thinks we've all gone mad!!:D I think its all rather exciting myself!:)

    Miss P

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
