Thanks for the welcome and the words of advice, 5 tea time means 72 hours for me
I'm currently reading the Allen Carr book (god bless my Ebook reader and debit card) but will hold judgement on that until a few more chapters in.
Yesterday started off a little bit iffy, with slight withdrawal symptoms. I was a bit concerned so phoned my GP who (luckily) wasn't working. The locum couldn't authorise a course of Chlordiazapoxide and I was worried that I would relapse, _JUST_ to fend off the withdrawals, which the locum actually suggested. I took it upon myself to give myself a task an hour to complete as a distraction starting with working through Uncharted 3 on the ps3, 4 hours later, I turned it off and felt fine - YAY!0 -
last night was AF so one more for me please.
DH got horrifically drunk whilst i was out. he was on tesco value gin and sprite. poured me a jd and coke but I've developed a massive dust allergy because all the moving stuff around to pack and move has stirred up all the dust in out flat so i felt awful and didn't want it. tip for you all - exposed brick walls and ceilings look lovely but everything will be covered in a completely insane amount of dust no matter what you do.0 -

That sounds like a mammoth milestone for you
You will have to start writing a list of things to do for distractions! When I first gave up, my garden had a mass going over, all the windows got cleaned etc etc - unfortunately I appear to have lost the urge to do things now:Ttracy, you did well!
I was tempted again earlier, not a craving as such I just thought it would have been nice to have a drink after a busy day. Fortunately, I needed to drive and by the time I got home the thought of missing my one last AF day for March spurred me on!
I love the way the AF days chart spurs us on to not drink!!! Thank you Shaggy
28 AF for me now please, and really not sure about April - still haven't decided whether to quit altogether, or just have a few occasionally. I suppose at least I am not drinking whilst I decide0 -
Morning :hello:
1 more AFD please Bearacus.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
