Wow everyone is being really fit and healthy. V envious as I can't exercise for another 5 weeks-I should be able to do some walking after wednesday though! 12 afds for me please Shaggy. DH came home in such a disgusting state last night it made me cringe. Found him asleep on the floor in front of the fridge with it wide open surrounded by discarded cheese strings wrappers and cocktail sausages-how attractive! He is now lying on the couch feeling sorry for himself-I'm sorry I thought it was me who'd had an operation and needed a bit of help with the kids....grrr!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Hope everyone has a good week, im loving this sunny weather, long may it continue! It’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -
Morning
Just dashing in to say 1 more AFD for me.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Morning all. Congratulations for everyone with the fitness stuff and good luck to those just getting into it. Only managed 2 miles yesterday as Saturday has taken it out of me more than I thought.
Still, kept the drinking down to a couple of shandies, and even skipped dessert. Slept fantastically for the first time in ages - 10 hours pure, deep, sleep, with no worrying about stupid things when I woke up. I feel great today, even though its a Monday:cool:
And the weather is fantastic, so lets go enjoy the week.:)
Take care.
MarkSmoke-free since Jan 2012 :j Now its just the drink, and the weight, and life in general0 -
16 please, Shaggy, thanks
Have a good week, everybody - hope this sunny weather continues :j0 -
Hey guys, wonder if I could jump aboard this thread? I am not a big drinker usually a 6 pack on a Saturday night but it worries me in that I am finding it very hard to give it up, I've been doing this for years, I am addicted I guess.0

Welcome falko, personally I'd call that a habit rather than an addiction. What matters is that it's bothering you. Do you have a plan? Do you want to cut down or cut out your Saturday drinking completely?
I'm on 10 AFDs at the moment and plan to be right back on that wagon tonight and get a couple more in this month. It's low but I know my drinking days have been moderate, sensible ones so I'm happy. Have a good day all.0 -
