    Hello all

Sorry to have been awol. Real life got a bit manic. My Uncle died two days ago. We've known for about a week or so that he was going downhill fast. I'm just pleased my Mum got to see him before he went (he lives in Surrey, some distance from us). So we've all been a bit all over the place. Plus I've been supporting my best friend, whose BIL (age 42) has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I think we are all beginning to wonder if anything good will happen this year??

Soooo....I havent been AF for a few days. I know my totals gone up a bit but have lost count I'm afraid :o

Hope everyone ok. Sorry to be so down. I'm actually ok. Will catch up with thread shortly.

    Miss P
    xx

Sending you the biggest of hugs MissP. I knew your uncle was ill but didn't realise it was likely to be so soon. Hope your mum is OK. I know you'll be there to support her but be sure to look after yourself. I'm sure you won't drink to excess so just take care and be back soon.:A

    Hi everyone!

Dissertation finished, essays finished, all i have to do now are the exams for uni!!

I was panning on celebrating on wednesday night, with a bottle of wine, but only had half a glass and didnt fancy any more, so started on the tea instead!!! What has this thread done to me??:rotfl: And to top it all off, i had an AF Friday night last night too! We went over to my sisters house for a take away, and i was driving home so couldnt drink (despite my sisters attempts at getting me to have 1 glass!).

Anyway, now that the stress of that is all over and done with, i am going to get on and be more strict with myself in regards to AFness!

Big hugs to MissP, sorry to hear about your uncle, big (((HUGS))) to you and your family.x.

Morning all. Been away for a few days so haven't been able to post. Shaggy, I'll go for 7 AF days for April please - fingers crossed:o

5 more AFDs for me please Shaggy.

That should make 26/31 for March :j my best month yet. Four of those 5 drinks were planned, moderate and out with friends - only one was the old demon of necking a bottle of wine in the house on my own after a c**p day.

My aim for April is NO MORE NECKING:rotfl:

I love your post gardenanna, that's exactly what I aim for too!

:Ton getting all the Uni work done cleggie. I must admit that this thread has done the same for me too. I find that most nights when I'm drinking I get to the point when I know I've had enough and switch to a mug of tea.

I have a fairly social time going on over Easter but hope to clock up plenty of AF days either side. Heath, I know what you mean about when the thread goes quiet. I always worry that friends have strayed but often they're just busy with RL, especially at weekends.

Target of 10 for April please Shaggy.

Bearacus, I'm not going to commit to SNC this week as it's school holidays and impromptu invitations sometimes crop up. Promise to be good though;).

    Good evening all!
I am back on the wagon now, if you'll have me back??:o

So, i cant remember how many AFs i had in March, but not as many as i'd hoped for i know that!

Can i please go for a target of 20 in april please Shaggy, and can i please aim for 3 on the SNC Bearacus (Mon, Tues, Wed).

The bells were ringing tonight, to the point that i had put my coat on to pop into tesco to go and get some wine, but talked myself out of it!
So, am AF here this evening, and am drinking OJ!
