Have a great day crazy mum!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Good afternoon everyone! Hope you have all had a nice day?
I am not feeling bothered by having an AF evening this evening, which is nice after my cravings yesterday. Normally i will start on the wine when i am making dinner, but i am in the middle of making dinner as we 'speak' and am happy with a nice cup of tea :)

    So, 4 AF's so far!
  • I DID IT!! My first AF day since mid November!
it was so so hard- I couldnt sleep and didnt sleep until gone 3, and was all panicy and horrible but there was NO WAY I was giving in. I nearly got up and had a large rum twice- just to knock me out, calm the anxiety BUT i knew if I got through last night then it will be a breeze. I am not drinking tonight- hubby is out until 9.45pm ish so I am going to put all the kids to bed early, cook a nice tea, plate his up for when he gets home and go to bed with clean sheets and a good book.

Well done Crazymum. I love this thread too xx

Also I dont want to shout too loudly BUT I havent had a fag since Monday :)

Cleggie you seem to be going from strength to strength - well done you....so proud of you :T

Iristhedragon you go girl.....fantabulastic, well done :j. Little steps by little steps.... just remember how good the mornings feel. I couldn't sleep last night either - too much emotions, eventually got up and instead of reaching for the whisky bottle....ate half a tub of ice cream instead :j. Proud of you too.

Thankyou to everyone who has said such kind words, feeling a bit knocked out today with emotions and exhaustion. I would like nothing more than to sink into oblivion with a bottle of whisky....but am thinking and understanding instead of drinking.
I understand more and more that it is not the way I want to live and that all I need to do is take one small step at a time.

7 children and 2 dogs in the house tonight - chaos as always, tea is done, lunchboxes packed up, looking forward to a calmer evening.

Sending you all the strength to go where you want to go and big sparkly rainbows to everyone who has done so well so far :T.
