3 AF for me Shaggy including today. Off to bed soon so no temptation to reach for wine.
As I suspected, out on Sat so intend for this to be the only night I drink this week :j and will limit to just one glass of wine0 -
Evening all.
crazymum and cleggie - I think sometimes when you drink regularly (or me at least), your head becomes sort of permanently cloudy and you can't really feel natural emotion as your mind isn't really at peace with itself. I think once you stop drinking there's suddenly some clarity to everything so that might be why you're feeling the way you do. It's quite cathartic though, to get it out of your system! And also, never EVER be afraid to post anything on this thread, everyone is really supportive and we're all in the same boat, whether we're quitting totally or just cutting down to sensible levels. We're all here for the same reason, and that's not to judge. Otherwise what would be the point in this thread at all??
shaggy I'm on 3 for this evening please and 2 on the SNC please bearacus x
Also, and I hope this doesn't look like I'm copping out, but I have decided to revise my target to 30 days instead of 31. The reason being, my mum is moving house on Friday, it's all been very emotional and she's had a really tough time. The whole family is coming together to help her and I feel a bit of a celebration will be had to mark the occasion. Nothing too rawcus, no getting blind drunk for sure! Just a meal and a drink at the new local country pub. But I'd like to join in with everyone, so Friday is now a planned drinking day. If the celebration doesn't happen then I'll not bother drinking0 -
I think I might just make my first AFD since November tonight
Im so excited because Ive been feeling SO RUBBISH. Not to mention the fact Im on meds that you are only meant to be able to have literally 2 drinks a week on. Ive been depressed, put on weight, panicky, short tempered..........
Definitely not going to cave tonight now- off to be with a new magazine and some sleepytime tea. Maybe I'll do a dry January- Ive always been jealous of people that manage that....Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

Think of all that properly restful sleep you'll get tonight. I suffer from panic sometimes and it really takes it out of you. Sleep is a good healer for your body and mindI'd only had a couple of AF days since November up until new years day and felt totally out of sorts by the end of it, so I know how you're feeling. Good luck x
