NSD #7 for me please! I was absolutely angelic today, I nearly had a change of heart this morning about walking when I saw the ice, but I stuck to my plan to keep my NSD, and found a (very frosty) tenner on my way :j
Not sure what to do with it now, I'm inclined to save it in case of emergency (things are a bit tight with January syndrome) and then when (when not if!) no emergency occurs to use it towards my Dotty P card which I'm paying off. Or should I just pay it now? Or spend it on treats?!

I'm claiming numbers 8 and 9 (spent most of the day in bed feeling carp and full of a cold so that helped

Hi all, I nearly had an nsd today but DH decided to get a EM lottery ticket for tonight. We don't usually get one but it's Friday 13th which has always been his lucky day. Let's hope it's lucky tonight for him.
That's all we bought though so we have been very good and not slipped off the rails. :A
Hope you're all feeling good tonight.
Hugs to those who need one.

LittleMissHappy wrote: »Needed a weeks worth of shopping but my car wouldn't start  so could only get what I could carry (it's just my battery as I use my car so rarely, I try to walk everywhere if I can but it is annoying when it won't start on the odd occasion I need it!)
We used to have the same problem with our car, until we fitted a battery isolator switch (see pic below). They're great, they cost about £5 on fleaBay, you attach them to the battery (or get the garage to do it when you next take the car in for an MOT/service etc), and when you're not using the car, turn the green knob anticlockwise (OFF) to disconnect the battery which stops the battery from draining, and which also a great theft deterrent because if someone should try to steal the car, they wont be able to start it!
Then, when you want to use the car again, just pop the bonnet open, turn the green knob clockwise (ON) to re-connect the battery, and you're up and running again!
Have a good day Friday and wiggle everyone, and enjoy the weekend!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:
