Being part of the Frugal Living Challenge seems to stop me doing that, as I have to account for every penny I spend rather than just the number of days I spend them on

Yup - that works for me too!

Also - try a spending diary (if you don't have one) - I find writing stuff in there as I spend it really makes me think too .... if I have more than 2 entries in a day - it's been a bad one!
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

I realise this is long overdue, I have had such an awful week at work, although it has helped me not spend and meet my target quicker than I expected, but it's been awful for my waistline as I have just been comfort eating :o

    So here goes

    Sunday 8th NSD 6
    9th - NSD 7
10th NSD 8 which gives me my 4 in a row!
    11th NSD 9
12th - NSD 10 - which gives me my target!

Can I please set a new target for 15 NSD's please. Not a huge increase, but I am meeting friends for coffee tomorrow and next week after work, OH is on holiday and I have my MOT due next week as well as my Road Tax. So I am going for Baby steps especially whilst I am feeling down at the moment.

  • Well today was an unexpected NSD for me! Went into town for a mystery shop visit so was very much expecting to spend money whilst out (coffee and cake etc!) but my dh decided to wait for me in the car so he didn't have to pay for parking therefor we went straight home, good for the bank balance but I must admit I was a little disappointed, not that I need more cake! So anyway, think thats me on 7/20! :j
  • Today was a spendy day for me today, lots of shopping.

Hoping I can now get a few NSD's in a row as cupboards and fridgefreezer full for now.
