Hi all, I know we're nearly halfway through the month already but I feel inspired to join in.
I'm gonna go for 10 NSDs for the remainder of the month, fingers crossed!
Wish me luck! :j0 -
Hi all. Not an nsd today, had to buy puppy food to feed the ravening duo! Luckily the pet shop has theirs on offer, 15kg for £25 instead of £35+. Just got to find somewhere to store it now. :rotfl: Finally managed to put money on phone and stocked up on milk too while I was in Mr.S. I only get phone topped up there cos of the nectar points.
Many hugs to all of you, there seems to be a lot of unhappiness and pain this week.Hope you all feel better soon.

I'm finding that once I've made a spend, I write the day off and think I can spend what I like!Anyone else find this? Anyone got any ideas to stop this?!

No spends of any sort for me again today, so that takes me up to NSD #7
Not sure whether tomorrow will or won't be - need to check what (if anything) I need before I head up to the gym for my PT session. At the moment the only thing I think I need to pick up is milk (I don't mind using OOD milk on my cereal and in my cuppas, but draw the line at using it in someone else's brews when it's a good week past the date on the bottle), and if I can't think of anything else I'll wait until Saturday in case something crops up
But I'll check my bank account before I head out,, and if any D/Debits have gone out (not expecting one, but you never know with the 'flexible' ones as I don't read the 'on or shortly after' bit on each notification) then I'll pick it up tomorrow in the hope I can preserve Saturday as my next NSD.....

Why not try the weekly spend challenge thread? Then you set yourself a maximum spend limit as well as you counting your nsds.
I'm here to report my nsd number 8 today. Hooray! Tomorrow is a spendy day but I plan to take out all of my weekend money tomorrow so that I only have to count it the once.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Hi and welcome! It's never too late to start....
spendaholic chick ever thought about having a weekly/monthly budget? It works for me,but it's flexible (thank goodness),so if I spend a bit too much one week,I take it out of next week's budget.I
Also I find a good incentive is to work out how many hours you would have to work to have the money for whatever you want to buy.
I'm very impulsive so now no longer window shop.It saves me a lot of hassle.

I've managed a further 2 NSDs since my last post which makes a total of 8 so far this month so looks like I could make my target 15 this month.Debt Free Date [STRIKE]December[/STRIKE] June 2019
