Don't be deflated Betty, you are doing really well. I'm sure when you look over it all with fresh eyes tomorrow it will all make sense. Is it just the cc and Next balances that have increased or the whole of your debt balance?
Tonight I've paid £6.44 to the credit card - this is made up of £5 sale of something to a friend, £1 I found outside and 44p to make my bank balance a nice even number!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Everyone seems to be doing so well on this challenge. I can't wait to get started myself but until the 27th any spare money has to go towards feeding us and we haven't really got enough to last until then. After the 27th I'm hoping our finances will take a turn for the better as I have recently started working full time and that's when my wages start coming through.0

Could it be interest added on or (godforbid) a late payment fee due to the recent extended bank holidays? I hope it's nothing sinister and its easily sorted in the morning.
PrincessP its amazing how quickly all the little bits add up :T.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi All,
Paid £13.99 off the Barclaycard today. It's from some CD's I sold on Amazon. I must remember when the DD is taken though it will reduce it by £13.99 so will have to add it back on

Hi Fantastiyk and welcome to our club. You'll be amazed how quickly these little bits add up. We all have different ways of doing it, some of us round up/down bank accounts to tidy up, some of us use money we made selling bits on Amazon/eBay. I also save £2 coins (see £2 savers challenge) and everytime I get to £20 I pay it off as an extra payment.
I think I'm winning with the lowest amount paid of 4p :rotfl: I think also most of us find once a week is acheivable although don't worry if you can't make it every week (I've certainly missed a few!)
Keep posting and chatting.

Sorry I've not been around for a while. I've had no spare pennies and have actually added a bit to the dreaded CC, but then weddings don't come free (even though we've managed to do it pretty cheaply!).
I'm still being careful, and will be back on track with extra payments next month.Debt Free Date: November 20170
