I feel the same but you are right it will snowball and every little helps!

I just made a payment of £5.59 as that's what's left in my bank acct before payday on Monday and all my bills are paid.

Well done guys. Keep it up. Im so pleased that so mnay of you are doing this with me. WHen I satrted the thread I expected a few people might like tht idea and join me but I'm thrilled that it seems to be such an acheiveable challenge for so many of you.

My extra payment for this week has been made, not a great deal but an extra £3 paid off my cc. It all adds up. x

I will be collecting the totals from everyones signatures on or around the 29th Jan so please try to make sure you've updated that week's payment by then. I will then post our group total for January. I'm really looking forward to seeing how much debt we've paid off. xxxx:j

I've just had my extra payment for this week for £4.06 was meant to do it yesterday but never got the chance, think next weeks is going to be only a few pound as its coming up to the end of the month, might actually ebay some stuff I haven't used / worn for the last 6 months to increase my totals

Hello everyone, I have made my payment today... I never said I was going to do it every Friday **anyone checks back and quotes me will come to a painful and sticky end**

I have not made a mess of this in jan... no siree bob, nothing to see 'sept a payment of 8.99 which has rounded down my current account...

For all those thinking they are not paying enough... as one now slightly tarnished supermarket once said... every little helps...

Hello a little late in getting organised for the New Year and although I have read the forum for about a year now I never quite found my way round it...or didn't quite own up to myself that I needed to do something as debt large but am managing to pay it 'just' and have never yet missed a payment. This is the first year that I am actually concerned that their is no extra in the pot and we now just make the minimum payments to cc's.

So I have chosen to join this challenge. Does anyone know If I choose to make a minimum payment each week off my MBNA c/c which is the largest interest and easiet to pay...is their a minimum amount I can pay extra. I guess I have never looked into this before.

Today I have made an extra payment of £10 but I know this is just a high starting figure and it won't be like this every week.

Plus I need to work out and read the previous post on how to create a signature.

I'm in!! I have just made my first payment of £71.68 :T OH is on board with it, so it is a combination of what is left in his bill account and what is left from my housekeeping. We are doing it slightly differently in that all our debts are interest free thanks to our DMP but we do owe our three kids money So all our payments will be going straight into their bank accounts with the one we owe the most to benefitting that week!! Although that's a massive amount this week, it has been accumulating for about three weeks and the OH's bill account money will only be once a month, but it all adds up. Sooooo glad I found this thread :rotfl:Infact my kids are so glad I found this thread!!!

Have just made my second payment of £6.90- not as much as last week but at least it's heading in the right direction!!
